Technically yes, but many games prefer 2 motion controllers. And quite a few users like the navigation controller too, though its not essential as you can use the Dualshock instead.

I'm not having a pop at the deal but as pointed out this isn't really a full package. A lot of games I checked on hoof lube especially fighting games need 2 so a bit naughty.

Good deal and price. Not so good value. Moan over!

I own a ps3 and a 360. People have been ragging on the price of kinnect but is move really that much cheaper if you need 2 controllers the navi thing then you've got that gun attachment etc seems like the costs mount up very quickly. Was interested in move now I've gone off it.

Well not really. U dont "need" a navi controller or gun attachment, etc. U can play with just 1 move motion controller and eye camera...2 is better for a few games. I emphasise "better", not essential.

While with kinect, u need to spend the amount, while with move u have option of breaking it down to suit ur budget.

i also own both consoles and now also got both kinect and move and this is only my opinion but i find kinect much better suited to me as i find it to be a lot more family fun then move. plus whatever anyone says move is just a upgraded wii mote with a camera so i feel been there done that. i know theres been eyetoy with ps2 but we all know that just didnt work so kinect really has surprised me as it works and its loads of fun with the mrs and kids. kids cant get to grips with move so that will just be used for me with fps games.

No you dont need it but it gives a good demo of what the move is capable of and its functions.

You need 2 for any games so far. Even The Fight is playable with just one controller. It just improves gameplay with 2 Moves. It's worth it as not everyone needs 2 Moves. For example, so far my only Move compatible games are The Shoot and PAIN. If they included another Move controller and bumped up the price, it wouldn't really be worth it for me until I got another game like The Fight or Sports Champions which properly use 2 or only when someone comes over to play 2 player.

Fair point well made.

I reckon I'll hang fire for now though and see what 3rd party gear comes out before parting with any pennies!

I think this is a decent deal, and you can get the A team on bluray for £9.99 when it's 17.99 at most other places

"Predators: Triple Play Edition (Blu-ray, DVD & Digital Copy) (2 Discs) (Blu-ray)" is £9.99 at Play.com regardless of buying the PlayStation Move Starter Pack:

So, yes, "The A-Team" is the better deal incentive here.

However, a word of warning regarding "The A-Team" if you intend playing on a PlayStation 3.

From my own experience, I was unable to play "The A-Team" Blu-ray Disc without disabling access to the BD-Live features. However, I learned of this fact after falling to the "backup" option of watching the included DVD on my Xbox 360 instead (to avoid loosing the assembled audience waiting for my PS3 to function as expected).

The Blu-ray Disc does play on a stand-alone Blu-ray Disc player without additional intervention, I believe.

BFN,

fp.
