  I don't know.... Why does a normal PSN update warrant a deal on its own? Resi is only free for Plus members also, which means it isn't really free.

  I'm a PS+ member so I can get the RE games free, but they're only free as long as my subscription is active, but does anybody know whether I can still purchase the games during my subscription period?
  
  the reason I'm asking is becasue some games I really like so I don't mind paying and keeping it mine forever, and they're on sale on reduced price e.g. 30%, 40% etc for Non PS+ members, which is still a great deal, but as a plus member I can get it free, but it expires after my sub ends, and by the time my sub ends the game would have gone back up to full price.

  Nope - you can't buy any of the free PS+ stuff. I was stung with that as they were giving something away for free the other month or it was 50% off to buy, but I couldn't buy it.

  Are Sony shafting again with new terms for psn 5 downloads to 2 1 example are they now also saying to PS+ owners you only have 1 week in the month to get the free 100% discounted stuff ?

  why is there not more subscribers to ps+ it surprises me for £40 a year i must have downloaded at least over £100 of stuff including games and the psn cards you can get cheap so if you shop around you can get subscription cheaper with cards.......

  thanks for info guys, but regarding wait till next month, when the free status expires, wouldn't the discount price also finish too? (obviously the RE 2&3 is not at discount price just now, but I mean for other games)
  
  also another bad scenario is when I downloaded a game for free during my sub period (e.g. RE 2 & 3, but no discount currently if Not Plus member), then a few month later the games does get a discount for all members e.g. £3.99, but because I've already downloaded it for free, so that means I can't buy it at the discount price to keep forever? not very good from the users pov, once my sub expires the games would go back to £7.99 each.
