I'm really expecting this not to be the big seller everyone thought it was going to be, espiaclly after the games we saw for it at e3. Suspect it will sell well first few weeks then the sale numbers will fall off a cliff
#5
Also £350 from Very so could you not use one of the new customer codes?

Do we need to have every item from tesco posted? The code is the deal here

Ordered mine with this code last night. Had some Tesco gift vouchers so it cost £294.

Now to find the camera and extra move controller.

Chances are you won't get this on release though, or are Tesco saying they will do so?

Yep there's my answer

Important Notice: Due to limited stock we are only able to offer one unit per customer per address. Based on our initial allocation we cannot guarantee release day delivery. We will be fulfilling customer orders in the order in which they were placed.

Hmm I placed the order but says delivery expected on the 17th of October, don't know if I should cancel my Amazon pre-order now.

Update: Forget it, cancelled the Tesco order, it's cheaper for sure but no guarantee I'll get it on release day, will stick with Amazon order.

Cold! Doesn't have a 4K Blu-ray player.

Love HUKD logic, Xbox One wasn't as good as PS4, now that is has a 4K Blu-ray drive, PS4/Pro suck and everyone should get Xbox. We know full well 95% of people will barely use, or be impacted by no 4K drive.

In all honesty, not sure we need every item on Tesco Direct listed with the code discount.

Could you point me to the comment that say that? I can't seem to find it.
This a VR headset why would it have a 4k blu-ray player?
Also Microsoft are so far not releasing a VR headset.
I cancelled my pre-order for this with amazon because it looks like it will be a very underwhelming experience.
Decided to pre-order an Oculus Rift instead as that will also apparently work with the Scorpio next year as well as PC of course.
Eve Valkryie, Adrift, Minecraft VR and Apollo 11 look to be solid VR experiences, the Sony fair however do not.

It's sarcasm... every PlayStation related deal ends up in a discussion about XO S having a better BR drive, nothing else.

Of course Rift will give a better experience, it costs 1/3 more.

As for Scorpio, it's a year away and it won't cost £350 either, so of course it's better than PS4 Pro, but some people have short arms and deep pockets. So this is the best option.

I own both consoles but my Xbox One (S) does get a lot more use that might well be my elite controller as well as preferring the exclusives. People are fickle by nature and to be honest a brand losing some of it's lead is better for competition.
I don't think it is just the decision to leave out the UHD drive but also some of Sony's other decisions that have annoyed. Why not have at least allowed EA access?

Thanks. May cancel my order with Game and go for this instead. Not sure who I would rather give my money to...

Fully expect this to go the way of pretty much every other Playstation peripheral. When it was announced there was a tonne of hype around VR, these days VR sales have almost ground to a halt, and Sony's marketing and promotion effort around this seems to have moved from hype to the bare minimum.

Thanks OP. Just cancelled my preorder from March at Shopto!

Risk I am taking is that I had guaranteed Day 1 allocation, and now delivery is not guaranteed on Day 1.

Great deal - ordered mine. 2% quidco and 0.5% on credit card.

So are these going to be in short supply?

I cancelled my early Amazon order for Tesco.

If you have not pre ordered one yet and still want one on release day, you could try your local game store, been in mine today, the guy behind the counter said they would be having some in store for a first come first serve basis, and they are opening doors at midnight if anyones is interested, so i guess they could be doing the same in most of the game stores, best check up with your local store and see if they are doing so.
If you don't fancy a 12 midnight run to game, be at the door at 8am thursday should have some in, well unless they sell out.
