I am sure it is amazing but so was eye toy, then the Wii, then Kinect and now VR. IMO peripherals shouldn't cost more than the console required to run them!

Voted cold for the ridiculous practice of forcing bundles on people.

As an owner of a PSVR, I'm actually impressed with it, it's a lot better than I expected it to be!

People slating it, have you actually tried it for yourself?

It's a bundle, it comes with the camera etc. Still overpriced though.

I own one and am too impressed, but are you honeslty saying that this isn't anything other than a gimmick? It will never be the future of gaming and will soon die out like the Wii and Kinect

The Wii sold 100 million units before it "died out" :p

Either way it was nothing but a gimmick, just like this whole VR thing

I honestly don't know how it will pan out. But to me it does have more about it than Kinect or Wii. First time I played it, I actually was blown away by it, and sat there and went "wow" and chuckled to myself. Agree totally it won't replace the traditional way of sat down with controller in hand looking at the tv :)

I just find it amusing people trapping off about how bad it is without even trying it. But hey, you'll always get that on the net :)

Dunno about that, it had some excellent games on it.

The VR opens up opportunities to all sorts now. maybe being able to watch music concert blurays in VR mode to make it look like you're there. Also they're using VR in medical training too.

I have this for my daughter and opened it to test it works before Christmas. Even my husband who isn't a gamer was blown away by it!! Can't wait to get the resident evil game after trying the demo

Yeah but would they have been any different with a regular controller?

it will never replace traditional gaming but i think it will run along side it, popular games like cod and fifa wouldn't work in VR, personally i find it hard to get excited about what must be the 12th cod game and like the fact that theres something different out there. Theres so much more potential in vr than there ever was in the wii and kinect and i dont really think they can be compared but who knows only time will tell....

This isn't a bundle deal! I've priced up similar items at various outlets online and they all come to around £500 for the headset, camera, games and move controllers!

This is made worse because its Game and they rely on duping people into believing they're getting a bargain just by slapping "bundle" on it. Don't get me started on the £5 a go debacle as well!

I thought, how it was worded, if you had a go you got £5 off of the vr stuff? Not £5 to have a go.
