Surprised they are lasting so long, not surprised by the cold votes :)

Where does it say fully sealed? I'm seeing this:

Condition and notes:

Used - Very Good

The item may come repackaged. Missing shrink-wrap, activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. All purchases eligible for Amazon customer service and a 30-day return policy.« Show less

Voted hot regardless, these haven't been out very long obvs and Amazon are usually pretty good with their descriptions on warehouse products, plus if it's not up to the expected standard then their returns are great too!

says Factory Sealed
Be careful, I bought a used very good 'factory sealed' at Christmas but it was opened, packed really badly, missing packaging inside and had a tear on the outside.
I complained because I felt cheated and got compensated by Amazon so ended up paying £228 for it which made up for the disappointment.

be careful - I had one of these that was marked as 'used - very good' and the left lens was badly scratched, no earphones and no demo disk.
(I had to send it back which Amazon were very good about to be fair)

cold for me, not enough of a discount for used.. may as well just buy new

These will be customer returns who have claimed faults which Amazon cannot see or where people say causing motion sickness etc. Wouldn't want something on my head and face they some stranger has worn ! Pretty sure the guarantee is less than when new also plus you have no guarantee with Sony.

Heated simply because it is under rrp unlike all the other PS VR deals that get posted, hence at least qualifies as a deal in my view, though personally I would want more discount for buying used but since it seems to be so hard to get I guess its to be expected.

To be fair to Amazon warehouse I have always found them excellent and IME they often understate the condition as I have had very good condition items arrived literally brand new sealed, only difference being they plaster a few Amazon Warehouse stickers on the box, which are easily removed with care....

You are wrong on both counts in relation to the guarantees.

Sony would not know that it is an Amazon Warehouse Deals item (even the Amazon invoice does not state this), therefore if you don't tell them then they would not know. There however are rare occasions where the previous purchaser of the item have registered the manufacturer's warranty already, but in the majority of cases they wouldn't have or if they did you could choose to return it during your 30 days.

Amazon do state that the manufacturer's warranties would be affected as they aren't the manufacturer and they can't guarantee that you would not tell the manufacturer it was second hand or the previous customer has already registered the manufacturer's warranty.

Amazon Warehouse Deals are still sold by Amazon and you get all their usual guarantees PLUS the additional 30 day no quibble returns policy. The additional returns policy is for your peace of mind and does not exclude all other rights (similar to how the Argos 30 day money back guarantee doesn't exclude everything else).

Previously I had bought several items which had failed just after the 1 year mark and I have easily managed to get a full refund, as long as the reason for refund is wholly unrelated to why it was discounted in the first place (eg superficial scratch or being repackaged).

Finally you are protected under the Consumer Rights even if it is second hand goods sold by Amazon.

It's better than current ebay prices when new stock is scarce.

Cold voters on here are simply petulant at times.

RES7 was amazing in VR!!!
After playing it all the way through on VR I now know what a true AAA game on VR can do.

Even if true, that still doesn't make this a hot deal. The terrible -178 rating at the time of posting clearly indicates as such.

I'm itching for a PS VR but promised myself I'll only bite when it hits ~£250. I may be waiting a while :)..
