I don't think there is anything on theses is there. We get 6 rolls of big blue kitchen towel for £5/£6 that lasts us for about 2 or 3 months from our local shop :)

Thanks for the savers website, never been there before

Yes

They are doing quite a lot of promotion around the name change at the moment.

Past week had a two pack for free when you buy the Sun. (30p)

Has also been on offer at Sainsbury for a while. (currently 97p for a two pack)

There is also a 50p off voucher here:

http://www.bountykitchenrolls.com/coupons.aspx

So Sainsbury + the voucher make it a better deal.

Bounty's a far better (and more recognisable) name than Plenty.

Bad idea changing it me thinks.

Proctor & Gamble removed part of the technology when they sold the license/plant, I have a few mates that work there.
The name change is part of that deal as well.
If you go to the P & G US site you can see that Bounty has been improved again http://www.quickerpickerupper.com/en_US/index.shtml. Plenty will not benefit from any of the new technology.

Q. Has the product changed?

A. No, Plenty is still the same great towel that can be used again and again to soak up spills or clean away household mess.

Sorry i should have been a bit clearer, the basic rolls are the same. What got removed was the equipment to produce the 25% thicker rolls, they will no longer be available in Europe.
P & G will also not pass on any future Research and Development.
