Non-sense post. Why would you need "stonger" wires on a keyboard?
How can the design be very very poor but still to work superbly?
I own the white version and using it right now, it's beautifull design, very very good and solid feel. Are there better keyboards out there? Maybe, but in what way? Not for this price anyway.
Yes because when sat at my desk I regularly wave my keyboard above my head. What a stupid comment. Wireless still sucks compared to wired. I bet you think wifi is awesome as well.
I like to swing my keyboard. I got the idea when i had fun swinging my cat who is also wireless I might add

I disagree. I have had a 2 wireless logitech keyboards for the last 6 years and they work exactly the same as the wired one I have at the office so I don't know why you think wireless keyboards are crap. Perhaps you have a lot of interference or you have bought very cheap wireless keyboards.
I don't wave the wireless keyboard around above me head but it is great not to see the clutter of the wires everywhere and I can put the keyboard on me lap without worrying about the cable knocking over me cuppa on the desk.
If wireless keyboards are as bad as you say, then they wouldn't sell at all and the manufacturers would go bust but they have not.
I don't think my comment is stupid at all, but you are!

Struggling to see what you mean as well... I have two white ones, nice, well built keyboards with low profile keys, typing quite happily on one as wee speak!!

I agree with you to an extent, in that wireless keyboards definitely have their benefits, but when mine literally sits on my desk not moving and gets hooked up to my laptop when I get to work, I dont see the need to purchase a wireless one and pay for batteries (or spend time recharging them), plus, unless I paid a lot more for a bluetooth keyboard, I would still have to plug the USB adapter in every morning... I therefore cant agree with your comments stating that people shouldnt buy wired any more...

First of all, what are you doing buying keyboards for work? Your employer should do that.
Secondly, my keyboard and mouse are wireless and they are unifying so there is a very small usb which sits permanently plugged in without any trouble.
My keyboard takes 2 AA batteries and that lasts about 2 years with about 10 hours use everyday. The mouse has been on charge but I have a battery operated one for the last 6 months and the one AA battery in there is still going strong. Logitech says it should last 2 years.
hmm... firstly, the deal poster who just copy-paste information about this keyboard (probably) from web site, so we could blame web site authors for quite old information giving about this keyboard...
And, no hard feelings, but your question it's quite stupid, and in the future think before what you want to ask or write...
Because words: "USB interface " ,basically, means and says that you can plug this keyboard to any device which has usb plug, maybe it will not work with example: tablets, but with any pc or mac(hmm... with mac I'm not sure, but it should be ) - definitely
and words: "Windows 2000/XP/Vista " says you, likewise the same - it will work with any windows version starting from windows 2000(no idea who could have this version in our hotukdeals community) until newest windows version so in your way - windows 7, also if you heard it's already existing Windows 8 (more precisely beta version for Developer Preview)

My employer does provide bog standard Dell keyboards, but I prefer to buy one thats a bit nicer to use, so I am willing to put my hand in my pocket and pay the £5 odd pound for a nicer one (that this is)... I'm sure that if I wanted to be petty, I could claim the cost back on expenses, secondly, I use a Dell E4310 laptop, which I find excellent, except that it only has two USB ports, meaning, that its unfeasible to leave a micro adapter in it all of the time... And for the record, I'm not criticizing your setup... I'm just defending the wired keyboard, and offering my opinion that this one is particularly good for the price in my opinion... :D

A simple yes would have done the trick oO
For the original question, I use quite happily on Win 7 64...
cheers

I just wanted to make sure this was not an old keyboard based on there specification. How was i suppose to know having a usb interface would mean it be compatible to all OS. if you stopped 100 people on the street, and ask them that, i bet most wouldn't know too.
