I've been looking at 'n' too but I'm going to wait til out of 'draft' before I buy anything.
This looks hot in the meantime, I'm guessing it could be used as a bridge?

Cheapest p&p £4.79

Not a bad price for new.

Worth noting you can usually pick up a decent Netgear (Sky branded) for less on e-bay, although they do need firmware flashing to use on other ISPs :)

whas the difference between g and n?

Speed and (I believe) range.
g = 54Mbps n = ranges from 108-300Mbps

n is cool if you're wanting to stream HD movies, move large files across your home network or you've a wireless 'black spot' in your house..
For general web browsing though you wouldn't see any difference.

Plenty in stock can this be unexpired please.

the quoted speeds are a bit misleading, wireless b averages 2mbps, g is about 10mbps and n should weigh in at 70mbps in real-world terms.

could this be used as a wirless bridge?

could this be used as a wirless bridge?

Yes:

Supports Wireless Distribution System (WDS)

Just in case:

Wiki

Quote:
WDS may also be referred to as repeater mode because it appears to bridge and accept wireless clients at the same time (unlike traditional bridging). It should be noted, however, that throughput in this method is halved for all clients connected wirelessly to a router that is connected with WDS.

EDIT - Just in case you used the word Bridge rather than Repeater....a Bridge bridges separate networks and a wireless repeater just increases Wireless circumference.

Can anyone confirm if this router ADSL+2 would work receiving wi fi connection and transmiting in a wired ethernet to a PS3??????
#25
Got one of these at £23.87 including shipping.

Was a little tempremental to set up and the instructions are not very user friendly . Got the broadband and the wireless security working but had problems with the broadband disconnecting from the net every 10 mins. Change my wireless security settings which fixed the problem.

If you know a little about computers this is well worth the money.

Ordered one - thanks for another good find! H&R added of course.

This is a pig to set up.
Definately not one for the wireless network novice. Its ok if you know what you are doing and know what all the settings should be.

I have also had lots of problems with no connection to the internet ( even though i have network connection to the router and the router lights show there is an ADSL connection). but i am not sure if its a Vista problem or this router.
