They rate well for service too.........

I think they are a really good company. I recently got the 60GB Broadband with Anytime Call for £17.74. This was when I said I wanted to move to TALK TALK who had a special offer going.

for customers service very good, for internet and stability and speed .. rubbish

They used to sell cutomer info (ip, address, name etc) to companies like ACS:Law which made a living by sending threatening letters for illegal P2P downloading.

Do they still do that?

Remember the £3.24 a month only applies in their low cost areas.

BT own plusnet anyway so the back up is there and no risk of plusnet disappearing overnight

bittergeek - they didn't sell anything to ACS:law, they were forced to hand them over by an NPO court order. If you look at community.plus.net you will see a massive thread on it.

you will also see the good and bad there, no censoring of bad feedback

Court order or not they did that without a fight to protect their cutomers and without letting them know. And I thought not all isps here in the UK gave in. (Virgin didn't?)

I think with a 10gb limit per months no-one has to worry about ACS :)

@Bittergeek, also TalkTalk stood firm and wouldn`t let them have any details either.

Back on Track..

WE had only the option of Bt or Plusnet at the Village we lived at, the pings were awesome and we done our major downloading at night as overnight is unlimited.

Also remember it`s £5 for Every extra or part of 5 gig you download (except Night TImes)
