Went on live chat and swapped the girlfriend over.
I was getting bored of her anyway so looking forward to the replacement, especially with double of everything.

I believe they also use the 3 network which is, unfortunately, a deal breaker in many areas.

You're welcome not everyone wants thousands of minutes and text i have unlimited texts and i've rarely got over 200 in any one given month! I've only gone over 500 mins once in two years!

And if you need more mins/data/texts (still on Plusnet) you can always go for the Uswitch-exclusive offer of £7.50/m that gets you 1000mins/Unlimted txts/2Gb data: https://www.uswitch.com/mobiles/compare/sim_only_deals/

Just gave them a call, their system doesn't show the new deal yet ...told to ring back in a week. :|

Currently on the 250mins & 1GB data plan, the extra minutes would be useful.

Once you have the SIM you can arrange the port easily by texting Plusnet. The instructions come with the welcome pack.

Thanks for the info, I'll see if my current provider will match but I doubt it because it's half price.

Been with plusnet for a good few months now. I lost my network 2 weeks ago and when I used my phone(when the signal returned) it was showing as a completely different number on the phone I was calling ? . The network came back, but now I cant get 4G anymore. Rang CS and went through the APN settings but still no 4G . Bit annoyed to be honest as it was great beforehand, but im tempted to get this for my boy.Heat.

1500 mins, unlimited texts and 5gb data for £10https://www.plus.net/mobile/deals/5gb/mse/april17

How annoying. I took out the 500 minutes, unlimited texts, 5Gb plan for the same price last week. Doubt I'd get them to upgrade it to this as it's a MSE special.

Just tried to upgrade via chat but they want me to ring. I'll give it a go tomorrow.

They have just switched me onto this plan (from the 4GB one with UNL minutes and UNL test for £10) very quickly and efficiently using their online chat.

Can I order this sim/offer and then keep it for a couple of weeks before activating it? Or does it need to be activated within a couple of days?
*edit* forget that, it says pay first month up front.

Either 2G, 3G or 4G coverage of 99.63% of the UK population as at 30 September 2016. Based on EE data.

This isn't very reassuring to be honest, as most of the coverage could be 2G (unusuably slow) or 3G (very slow). 4G on its own should be 95% coverage of the UK by now but for one of the so-called richest nations on earth, we are terribly backwards with our general internet infrastructure.
