Cheap price for branded micro USB stick,
Large capacity, small and unobtrusive where space is an important factor, it's not the smallest but sometimes that's an advantage where smaller drives are really difficult to remove.
Only USB2 so probably not for you speed freaks out there,
Ideal if like me you tend to copy files onto them and forget about them, consider faster drives if you change files often.
Don't forget tcb or quidco.

These are so bloody annoying, I have a couple, the red cap pulls off and you're left with the metal bit hanging out of the port. OK you can get it out with a bit of effort, but not ideal.

Cheap price though.

Yep the HP ones do, the tiniest drop of gorilla glue sorts it however. In fact these PNY ones design look identical, I reckon HP are rebranded PNY.

Wow great price. Hot.
I have several of these - HP and PNY in various sizes. Couldnt resist another (HUKD strikes again!)
Generally had good experience with these. One of them did fail after a few months but sent back and got a replacement. The casing of another has come a bit loose but I stuck a bit of UHU in it and it has been fine since. The size is just right. Small enough not to get in the way but with enough to grab hold of to remove from USB port. I use them for movie files mainly.
Don't forget TopCashback.

Got the 8GB versions for a knock down price too. The speeds are poor, though, even for USB 2, but at this price I'm sure you won't mind hanging around a few more minutes!

I wish they sold the same model in 4GB.

It's still the standard USB 2.0 port not micro USB port.

it wouldn't happen all the time if you pull your finger out and put a dab of glue on it

Shouldn't happen at all and FYI I have tried glue. It stopped it for a while but with repeated use (as is common for USB sticks) the problem quickly re-occurs.

I have this 64GB version in the car and it's tirelessly been providing my music for over a year.
You can get duff units from any manufacturer - I don't believe that PNY are more prone to errors than others.

Only 2 quids more for this USB 3.0 version, although it's not as nice or compact looking as the PNY (Have been using a 32 gb PNY for over two years now, no issues so far)

yes, very much trial and error, pulling your finger and do something, in time, your finger will work miracles and satisfaction with things working increases.
