Where on the sale page does it say that this is a class 4?

I don't think it's on the sale page to be honest but if you type PNY into the search bar of HUKD, you will see that this deal was posted quite a while back (at £9.98) but went out of stock at that time. Point being is that all the details about this item, you'll find it all there.

I think on that listing, someone confirms it is a class 4 as they had bought one from ebay. But do check it out.

Can confirm that the ones I received were class 4, but as it isn't in the description, you have no comeback if you receive a class 2.

Yeh its just that I read through 4 pages of comments for another 8GB micro HCSD card on play and it seemed as though some people received class 2 cards and others received class 4.

I think I'll stick to the class 6 card I have my eye on despite it being double the price.

Thanks for the comments and further information. Much appreciated.

Can anyone confirm if they got one of these from Play but a class 2 one and not 4?

I know absolutely nothing about memory cards, but I purchased this one from PLAY on boxing day to go in my LG GW300 phone I got for Christmas.

It transfers nice and fast. However, the packaging states 8GB and it also states 8GB on the card itself, but when I put it in my phone it only reads as 4GB. Other than it maybe being a 4GB card by mistake, does anyone know why this might be?

Does the LG GW300 support 8gb memory cards?

Tried putting the memory card into a memory card reader and seeing what size your computer sees it at? Might need a format.

As far as I'm aware it does, there were quite a few mobile phone websites that were selling them in conjunction with the phone. I've already formatted it, but i'll definitely try it out in a memory card reader to be sure. Cheers

The LG viewty has this problem, put in an 8gb stick and it only shows 2gb. The work around on the viewty is to pre-fill it with data. Fill it with 6gb of music/video already via it plugged into the pc and it will still show 2gb free for storage when in the phone.

So in your case it might be worth filling it with 4gb via an adapter on the pc first then putting it in the phone.

Thanks a lot for the heads up, appreciate it :) Rep added :)

With regards to the deal, I was perfectly happy with the quality, transfer speed and quick delivery of the product. Looks like my issue is with my phone and NOT with the memory card.

We're still waiting for the 32Gb SDHC cards to be released. There's been reports of people who've bought so called "32Gb" cards from a well known auction website saying that they are just 16Gb cards falsely relabelled in 32Gb packaging and with a file that tricks the computer into displaying 32Gb of space available when infact there's only 16Gb. The file of course disappears after formatting and 16Gb is rightly displayed.

No problem sir, glad to (possibly!) help :)

I bought this exact card a few days ago for 60p more off the same site
