£1 a GB is about right

Nice specs as well and good styling

Yep, I saw this yesterday and thought it looked pretty reasonable.

I've got an 8GB PNY Optima, which has a slightly better performance than the Attache. Very fast with big files, but rather slow with smaller files. (This is common to most flash drives, but considering the above average large file performance, the small file performance is disappointingly below average.)

PS. The 'capless design' is good, in that the cap doesn't get lost, but does make it rather bulky and old-fashioned looking, compared to some of the other sleek new drives.

Heat added.

Doesn't sound bad, 4mb faster reading and 1 mb faster writing than the last dozen or so 16gb drives up here for the same price. Anyone want to talk me out of it?

Yes that's what I thought, but a distinct lack of heat compared to the others lol!

My Kingston 16gb was shipped over a week ago and still hasn't arrived! Play are AWFUL.

I've personally never had issues with Play, bought quite a few things. A T-shirt took 6 days instead of 5 to arrive once and I did start to get a little worried it had been lost so deliveries do seem to take longer now than they did.

Have some heat sir.

Oh yea, my kingston 16gb from play arrived 3 to 4 days from postage, works a charm stabbed in to the front of my panny home cinema.
#11
Well serves me right for thinking Play might improve over time. I can't even claim the item as missing till 21 days! (it's 10 days since it posted).

Also waiting for > 2 weeks for the Kingston from Play, BUT this is the first time it's ever happened. I like Play.

Post normally takes 7-10 days from play for me. They are strangely slow, compared to Amazon free which is like 2-3 days for me.

For me, I find Play items usually arrive after 3 days usually from Jersey, at the most 4..however I have been finding a lot of first class items even posted within the UK taking 2-3 days lately....typical of Royal Mail as late...and no doubt shortly before xmas things will get worse.
#18
I don't know why Royal mail have a 1st/Second class. They are both collected and sent at the same time...Perhaps it's for peace of mind. It's likely more expensive sorting 1st/2nd class letters into seperate lots for delivery, but costs nothing to Royal Mail, for those people that want at least the false hope that their letters will arrive the next day (very rarely do)
