At £75 this is a hot deal, I have a zotac 8800GT 512MB and it runs all games really well and it doesn't break the £100 barrier (mine was £75 from ebuyer before they ran out of stock).
People who say get a HD4850 or a 9800GTX are right about one thing - they will outperform this card. However they are about 50% more expensive than the 8800GT/9800GT series (they are the same btw). £115 for a HD4860 & £150 for a 9800GTX

Crysis & Warhead at 30+ f.p.s (1440x900 & 1680x1050 with a few frames less), you just have to get the latest drivers, latest game patches & the ccc 2.21 mods though. No graphics card on the market can play either at the highest settings smoothly at high resolutions.

Great card, great price. I know what you mean about warranty and to be honest I haven't had a Graphics Card failure in over five years (touch wood). They certainly seem more durable nowadays.

Em your looking at the memory clock not core clock, core is 600mhz on thsi one. Tbh it isnt a great deal, save £7 against scan and this is second hand. You get only 1 month warranty for that card and for computer components thats pathetic, 1 year is the make or break timing really but 1month is a joke. http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=863106 £83 , use hexus forums or avforums for free delivery.

Voted warm because its a low saving and second hand :P.

Oh yeah, I remember those days well.

I had a Voodoo 2 connected up to my Matrox video card. God those days were a ball ache!

One month warranty is not something I fancy to be honest, especially with Nvidias recend record with dodgy parts.

Do you get the manufacturers warranty with a 1month sales warranty?

i just bought the radion 4870 sonic with 2 fans from store on ebay with 33k feedback - it had buy it now for 164.00 or best offer option so i put offer of 150.00 and was accepted pretty much straight away, not sure if they wouldve accepted lower offer but guess you guys can try, they have 9 cards on auction atm if you goto sellers other items item number 250308238210 - my first post so appologies if i get anything wrong

Expect most of these orders to be cancelled - Misco's open box stock levels are not real time. Meaning, they can have 'one' open box, and hundreds of orders - someone has to manually remove the item from the site.

I've been caught before - thought it was a good deal, but, got refunded (quickly I might add) and told it had actually been sold over two days before!

just curious, the nvidia website says:

3 - Requires NVIDIA HybridPower-enabled motherboard.

Does that mean it required to work or just to use the hybrid power technology?

Never ever buy a card with a months warranty, I know loads of peeps who've never had probs, but I bought a new card 6 months ago and am now on my 4th replacement. 2 yrs warranty is pretty standard these days, don't settle for less

Ordered about 5.30 last night and the card was delivered to me at 9.10 am this morning, considering that I only paid for the cheapest delivery that is impressive. Card came in original box with Company Of Heroes Opposing Fronts. The box had been opened, but as long as the card works, I'm not bothered.

Looks like this has expired now; saying no longer available. :(

Is there any benefit to running 2 video cards?
I need to read up more on SLI ;)
#18
You need to check various sources and make up you own mind as it does depend on the game you are playing. Personally I wouldn't bother unless you play a game loads and loads that scales well on SLI.
