Seems good with the 4gb ram supplied as well for £33, as the next cheapest seems to be ebuyer at £366 for the 1.5gb version

Nice price :) This or 2 x 460's hmmmmmm ? I need the RAM also though, but then all my money is spent, and it will just sit in a drawer till I can afford the CPU and M/B to go with the RAM. Cant go wrong for £40 though for 4GB. Anyone want to buy a 5870 ? :D

Hope they have enough stock! Heat added!

Good deal, but new ATI cards are only a few weeks away, when they are released they will be better than the current top cards but also will lower prices of both the current hd 5000 series and Nvidias latest cards, just a thought it might be worth waiting...

Any one remember the old deal from PLAY.COM, with the miss priced graphics card, I think that may have been a PNY one.

Would have been a really good deal, they didn't honour it, shame..

Don't bother with this. Either get SLI GTX 460's now, or wait a few months for ATI's 6 series to release.

They did honour it a few people from hexus forums complained and play sent them the £300 card for £90

Scan dont sell PNY as its not very good memory and i personally wouldnt buy it and i wouldnt buy this card either as its made by the same company, i would rather spend the money on a decent make card like Asus or Evga and the price of DDR3 is dropping so you are not really getting the bargin you think you are.

Every time ive bought PNY memory ive had it break, I bought a 2gb sodimm that went wrong in under a year i also bought my uncle 2x2gb of PNY ddr800 and that went wrong after 3months both where bought from play and where bought 12months apart.

As for get 2x460's thats no answer either as they will only be faster in games that support SLI or crossfire setups i personally would much rather have 1 fast card than 2 slower cards and a single 460 is more than enough for any game out there it even plays crysis at good rates so whats the point of 2 of them i would much rather get a 460 and the money i'd saved buy some memory you would have enough for 6-8gb of dominator with what you saved.

On that basis, there would never be an ideal time to buy a new card.
Sometimes you just have to take the plunge and buy now because there will ALWAYS be something new around the corner.

Also, paying this kind of money for a graphics card is ridiculous.
I don't care how many extra frames per second it will gain you in a couple of high end games.

Just because you don't care doesn't mean that other people won't want it, and if you can afford to spend this kind of money on a GPU, then what's the problem? It's not going to affect you in any way.

Plus it's not just games these cards are useful for, tasks like video encoding benefit from a good GPU too.

I think I may have left the PC gaming path at the right time.
The last computer I built cost about the same as this....and it was ace...now £400 for GFX?!?!

Not saying you're mad like, each to their own....

I like to keep up with my gaming needs on my PC but would never go as far as £400 for a graphics card, not anymore! I'm still playing MW2 and Battlefiled Bad Company 2 at high quality with a GTS250 1GB for £120, £400 is overkill.

Nice - heat added, now just need to upgrade the rest of my system to use it :D.
