Funnily, meant to buy similar at Amazon a few weeks ago, then they went up to £31+. I notice today they too are £17.99 http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000V6UKUS/ref=pd_luc_mri?%5Fencoding=UTF8&m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE Any opinions on either, anybody?

Bought this for the same price last summer... well, went into PC World, price matched them down from £64.99 so got it for about £15 a stick, they weren't happy to say the least. Had to go to another store to get my second, and they only relented after I showed them my receipt from the first store!

This is HOT been waiting for these to go down in price. Play had similar on offer a month ago for £14.99 but the reviews on them not as good as these.

I'm running two of these in my media centre/server, which runs a P4 Prescott with passive cooling. If they'll stand up to that (the hottest intel ever made) they're reliable enough for me

Low density, so can be used in any appropriate motherboard.

Sorry but this isn't really worth it. The ram is of a very low spec and old. Even my laptop ram is at twice the speed of this.

Not the point. Some people have desktops that only take this spec RAM (and I know for sure none of them will take laptop RAM!) :)

Thank you for your report. As this is a Play deal, we can't unexpire it because it's in stock at Amazon - that would be a separate deal listing as it's for a different merchant, thanks.
