guys would this be ok for the dell mini ? Also i have xp pro with 1gb ram already - would i notice much difference by upgrading to 2 gb? cheers

thanks for answer - just normal web surfing and pdf and powerpoint files. would it make a noticable difference? cheers

depends how big your powerpoint presentations are. Start up one of your PP presentations and then have a look at your memory usage in task manager. If it says it's using more than 1GB then it's using swap space and you'd benefit from 2Gb. (ctrl-alt-del to bring up task manager, and then look at the bottom right hand corner where it says commit/charge - it's the first number you need to look at)

thanks to op - tried to vote it hot but the buttons greyed out- I ordered a set -i'd just like to know if anyone knows if its the same product thats on the pny website Part No. MN2048SD2-667 ? or SODI102GBN/5300/2-BX ?
I got the 1st part number from PNY USA & 2nd part number from (PNY UK) pny memory configurator http://www.pny.co.uk/memory_configurator.php -also ive read about dual channel ..is this ram of that spec? also anyone know how to remove credit card details from play.com? how come play have it on file all the time? this is my first post :) P.S why is thread labelled expired? because its definitely still working & the ram is now £11.99 OR £11.39 after RAC discount :)
