The question should be, does anyone know how to use google?
Would have taken less time typing 'differences between pokemon omega ruby and alpha sapphire'(or similar search phrase) into google than it did to type you're question, plus you'd have gotten your answer much quicker as well.

If I add this to my basket here at work, will it stay there at that price even if the deal expires?

If it was registered on club Nintendo after 11 September 2014 or hasn't been registered yet then it's eligible.

I believe this is a price match of Tesco including the Cyber Monday £5 off code. Presuming that code is a one day only promotion, it is worth noting this deal will only last until tomorrow.

Good deal - went for the Ruby version. Thanks OP

The problem with that being the games have only been out in the UK for 3 days so the chances of anybody having totally completed them both and being attuned to the exact differences is nothing. Hence why you're not going to get a useful reply to the question. Plus how do you know you can trust the information from anybody on here anyway? Much easier to google it and find a specific website page dedicated to the question.

fowler002 might usually be trolling but his / her comments are not always stupid.

Well sorry but the 'what are the differences between the versions?' Isn't a matter of opinion, it's a matter of fact which has been documented on sites like ign(last I checked those are written by humans not robots etc), the differences in what Pokemon you can catch are the same as that of the original ruby/sapphire which have been out for ages and the difference available on the net for years.
As for any new differences, as someone has said the game hasn't been out long enough for someone on here to have played both games to list them.
I personally went for the alpha sapphire as I like the exclusive Pokemon over those available in the omega ruby, but on the flip side I prefer groudon(sp?).

Omega Ruby: Get groudon, seedot, reshiram, mesprit, and other version exclusives. Fight team Magma
Alpha sapphire: Get Kyogre, Lotad, Zekrom, Azelf and others. Fight team Aqua.
Apart from that, not much else.

my point is if someone is here looking at a particular deal what harm does it do to ask ... friendly helpful site so no harm done eh .. We all know google exists so no need to point anyone away from here when they ask a question!

Well thank you for the double handed compliment(not), if you(and others) find comments such as 'this is a repost/spam', 'no need for the flood of voucher code deals'(this is more recently due to the rakuten 'deals') etc type comments to be trolling then it's your problem not mine.

Well seeing as the info he wanted is widely available, it would be much quicker just to search for it(Google or any search engine of choice). Rather than post the question then wait for hours for someone to post a reply.

Sorry fowler002, that came across harshly and trolling was probably the wrong word. Not that my opinion counts for much, I'm sure, and not that I follow your HUKD activities avidly but from what I've seen I think you can take trivial things too seriously, which ends up causing petty arguments. For example posting "no need for voucher code deals" (which is an ambiguous topic) on every voucher deal thread is unnecessary when, as you suggested here, the appropriate thing would just be to spam it. You seem to like being contentious.

Good price.
You can further reduce the price by £5 easily by selling the Club Nintendo insert on Ebay (due to the Winter Promotion).

I was tempted to order omega red but have just started playing alpha sapphire(bought from nintendo uk store with the transparent blue console, steelbook, figurine, 2ds case and Zelda backpack), think I'll wait till after I've completed the one I have and then hope for omega red to come up at ~£25.

Think you've got your wires crossed, it's alpha sapphire and omega ruby. So what you just said that the same game went up in price but is still at £27 :p
