Can never understand the obsession with four month pre orders, Especially when there is currently only £1 or £2 difference with other retailers, Its gonna come down a little more.

You just contradicted your self? If it's to stay this price for the next 10 months, Is it not the standard price as opposed to a deal?

He means it won't budge much below £30. £29.95 is the cheapest I found for this game who do like to pre-order early and get it out of the way so I posted it, HotUKDeals is about finding the cheapest price for what people want and that is what I have tried to do.

Bad comparison, people can't predict the pricing for a remastered game from LoU, so it was likely the best price they imagined, Pokemon has a history of staying expensive, and for the record I got my copy for £24 from Tesco after £5 over £30 off and 20% employee discount.

Popular Nintendo games usually stay at their original price longer than Xbox and PlayStation games so that's a bad comparison. Pokemon X never came down to around £25 until Tesco had a sale a week or two ago.

Great price. can't see it being much lower than this.

Looking at the prices of Pokemon X/Y, Black/White2 then it's safe to say that this won't drop much below £30 in months.

Still hoping for some pre-order bonus. Game has had one for most of the recent games. And Amazon had one for BW2.

Hate to nitpick brother, but I too work at Tesco and we get 10% discount.

This game wont get much cheaper than this full stop, let alone in the first 6 months following release. Hot

You generally can't beat the £30 mark for Pokémon games, but I recall X/Y could be bought at around £28 if you were lucky, and considering this is a remake, and not a fully new game, it could get cheaper. GAME might also have a pre-order bonus. It's a great price, and I'm very excited for the game, but I think I might wait and see. Worst case scenario I'm £5 worse off.

Still, heat added!

I personally wouldn't pre order a game that is so far away, but it suits some people. This is a great price and i doubt it would go much lower once its released. Hot :3

I'm pretty sure there has been a recent 20% discount for staff. 10% is the standard but sometimes there is a 20% discount.

Not really what I'd call a hot deal but yeah, this won't drop much cheaper than this for a long time after release going on past examples and judging by the prices of X and Y still.

bought Pokemon Y played it for a few days over christmas got bored of it after 3 days, wont be bothering with any of the other previous or upcoming titles, games where you have to do one move consistently throughout the game to progress don't excite me as im no longer a 12 year old Nintendo!.

its probably still cheaper elsewhere even with your 10 percent staff discount as Tesco are a joke with the price of games, thats if Tesco still sell games by then, my local "superstore" has half a shelf for 360 games and half a seperate shelf for ps3 games with just one shelf each for ps4 and xbone!, tesco are a joke for entertainment like movies and cds too, crap shop to be honest and well expensive with everything else to boot!.

but i do give tesco credit for not turning half the store into self service checkouts like our local Asda, now that takes the mickey, Asda have lost it big time by doing that.

Give up on their most successful game ever? HA! They are making new games, but that doesn't mean they have to give up on the game that basically sells their DS consoles.

You're missing the point we've all been trying to say the game won't budge around the £28/£29/£30 mark. You said its pointless to pre order 4 months earlier but you're still finding deals for it now too.

Are you really suggesting that because in 2days it went down a few pence that is a trend it will go down lots more?

I hope I misunderstand your post.

Anyway, same as many here I am waiting for preorder bonus to be announced to see who gets my dime
#28
Got it for £26.40 via Flubit (which was 12% off Amazon's £30 price at the time). Used them many times - mainly on high-price items - and always been happy.
