I know, but not everyone does. I prefer buying the physical copies, play the game and then sell them again for around 80% of the original price I paid, as big Nintendo titles tend to retain their value.

Apparently they take it on the date you pre-order which puts me off

shame its not a proper copy, want the console but want to play it on a proper 3DS really, hot for some though!

I went and and pre ordered in my local GAME this morning, had to put down a £10 deposit but better than paying completely upfront. Thanks for the info anyway

Just because it's pending now doesn't mean that they will take it now/in the next few days. Sometimes they pend it to make sure they get the authorisation for that amount and then that means they can come back for it at a later date. I've ordered one today myself so will see what happens
