****Polaroid One Instant Camera****
Only £2

Bargain - Was £20, now just £2 ***£18 Saving***, Instore Only

Was £20, now just £2, for this fun little camera that takes great quality pictures with instant results. The only downside to this is the cost of replacement film which can be a little expensive but they are cheap enough on ebay.

Hope this helps.

It's £34 for a pack of 4 from Argos or £19.99 for a twin pack, 10 slips in one pack.

So it's £1 a photo

Now with Digital Cameras where you can instantly connect to a computer and print, it's not really worth it

Jesus H Corbett! Thats a bit pricey. Its hot for a one off (if it comes with film)

Dont know if it comes with film as I havnt opened it yet. I will check now. Also I have found a website 3 packs of film (30 photos) is £23.08 delivered, but the film is expired, but it is the same original quality (according to the website).

https://www.unsaleable.com/instant_photofun/

My asdas also had a sign for a 'Polaroid One Classic Gift Set' that was £24.99 down to £3 but they were sold out. I think that gift set is available from argos for £24.99 and comes with a film.

I can now confirm that this camera does not come with a film. Very sad and makes the deal less attractive, wish I had researched the price of the film before buying now, but for £2 from £20 I couldnt leave it lol.

If your asdas has the gidt pack with film for £3 thats a great deal.

£2 Landfill material, just like all the Polariod intant cameras.

As I suspected. If it came with a film I'd consider it a good disposable camera ;)

As is though, I could only recommend it to those who want to take photos that are to embarrassing to be processed :giggle:

What I don't understand is that a Digital camera is alot better and in the long run it's cheaper

Why would someone want one of these

btw. You should keep the film in the fridge as it keeps longer (no jokes)

Voted hot for price

Won't be going for this myself due to the cost of replacment film and happy with my digital camera which I can print out pictures very cheaply, would be ok for the kids to use but again is the cost for film

Indeed, film is best kept in the fridge.

I have a digital camera, have had for years. Don't have a printer though as I rarely use one when I do and ink tends to dry up long before I've finished it. Photo paper and replacement ink can be expensive, too. This is like a photo with a mini-built-in printer for £3 :) Just expensive film...

I think polaroid cameras have always had a novelty factor. Hence the fact they just won't die, even though they've never been particularly popular due to the price of film.

Oh you're all so hilarious. Little tip for everyone..... Halifax is a place in Yorkshire, it has an ASDA.

Are the films kept in the fridges with the milks, cheeses or meats?? I like the deal but banks, fridges and cameras should be kept apart for me!!:w00t:

They used to be kept in the fridge alongside my Mum's lipstick and other make-up stuff... We never really understood what a fridge was really for :?

None in the Nuneaton branch of Asda. Just the down from ~£25 to £20 gift pack which comes with 1 film, but the film has silver borders instead of white ones to make your photos look snazzy.
#26
If there is no film this is not a great deal, you can often buy these cameras with a twin pack of film for the same price as two packs of film. We have done this many times and have not been able to give the cameras away without the film.
#27
Beginning to look as if this offer is store specific
#28
I found another one today in Blackwood strore, the store I bought it from yesterday was Merthyr Tydfil, so not store specific. These asdas do have thair own little photo sections though for film development etc, thats where I found the camera.

Used these at two weddings recently - absolutely brilliant for snapping all the guests at the do and then gave them photo. They then had to put it into an alblum and write a comment below their picture. Brilliant idea and only possible with polariod - gave both couples an fantastic gift they could walk away with. 2 pound without film aint a great deal but still a saving there. 3 quid with film is 'triffic.

Ditto in Fareham store - even scanned it to check.
Though if anyones interested they are selling some expired film end 05/07, 10 print pack from £9 to £4.50.

Sorry no one isnt having any luck with this. I just checked in blackwood and the gift pack there was also £20 from £25, and came with silver border film, but from looking on the web there was an older instant gift pack that came with white border film, maybe that was what was £3 in my local asdas (but they were OOS)

Don't apologise Byan, thank you very much for posting this.
We did intially go to the Eastleigh store near us, but they had none in stock, and the sales assistant said they must have sold yesterday evening as they had some during the day yesterday.
I guess with a lot of these deals a lot of 'lurkers' to this site grab them - thus there's no post to say they've been grabbed - it is a terrific deal

Edit: just realised i forgot to add Rep - Done now

Tried putting my Fuji F30 in the veggie drawer overnight.

Not sure if its improved the quality of my pics but I now have frostbite in my fingies :-(

To everyone slaggin' off polaroids - heres why they are GREAT:

1/ If you meet a celebrity, they are perfect for snapping them and getting the bottom signed (providing they are white bordered polaroids, not the cruddy silver ones)

2/ You can shake them whilst they are developing, like the opening scene of the movie 'Memento'

3/ They do indeed serve as a brilliant memento from going out. An instant pic of yourselves at the beach being silly. Its much better than getting your digicam home, plugging in, sifting through loads of naff shots and printing a flimsy piece of nonsense on your HP photoprinter.

4/ They're just so damned retro

5/ When you are really old and an old polaroid of you playing with your dog in the snow falls out of a slipper in a drawer in the attic, you'll cry.

has to be cold as this deal is not in nearest asda
