How much is a new pack of printing 'paper' though?

Cool idea - especially for when travelling through remote places and wanting to give prints to people... but for general use I'm not sold... especially since these days you can walk into a Boots or Jessops etc and get prints instantly for only pennies....

I guess it can give you that 'polaroid moment' back - well kinda...

£12 - £14 for 70 sheets seems reasonable.
#4
HOT - I'm considering getting one, although I can't imagine it'll be used that often.

also, play.com offer 70 sheets of paper for £12.99

Will this work with the iPhone ?

I have just received mine today from play @ £34 :x and just charging it up will let you know, i been told it does not work with the iphone BUT i have downloaded a program from cydia ( jailbreak iphone ) called ibluetooth and have been told it works with that. So will let you know.
#12
Bit crap if it doesnt work on the iphone 3GS (unless jailbroken) as end of the day it has bluetooth so surely it should work but apple like to restrict things.

I would pick one up for travelling but provided it would work on a iphone that has not been jailbroken

2"x3" paper 15p a sheet ?? whats does that equate to for an a4 sheet ?about 2-3 quid a sheet ? lol

Dont get me wrong the idea is a good one but come on your seriously getting ripped off on the paper just pop into a local supermarket.

Voted cold the idea is good the price is a joke. might as well just buy one of those polaroid mini cameras that print sticky photos.
#17
Cheers OP,

Exactly my thoughts, these are tiny prints, 1/4 of a normal 6x4 print, which costs pennies in boots or somewhere, good idea, if it was a couple of pence a go, great fun idea for the kids, but 15-20p for a 2x3 print?!!

some valid points but come on, how can this be a COLD DEAL if its the cheapest possible deal?

surely people must realise by now how this voting hot/cold is meant to work???

please post a cheaper deal scousethief, thx

Scorching price!! How does this printer work if it doesn't use ink?? hate it when the ink costs more than the printer :/

Inkless paper
Zero Ink (ZINK) technology simply means NO INK, so gone are the days of replacing expensive cartridges, ribbons or print heads. All you have to do is buy ZINK Photo Paper™ which is available in 10, 30 and 70 packs
:)

Ordered and thanks, same as another poster printer from Zavvi and paper from Play = £38. I nearly bought this from Play for £35 only 2 days ago. So all in all I have saved £10 plus cashback.
#27
I bought one of these today - very good price! Will probably buy refill paper from Play.com.
#28
Bought just for a laugh. Gunna take photos of everything then print them out and stick them everywhere! Heated and repped.

Just pop into a local supermarket and what...?

It's specialised paper, you can't just chop up normal paper.

The review says that the picture quality of the prints is pretty crap.
Still a hot deal and probably worth it just for the fun of printing embarrassing impromptu photos of people.
#30
Pointless due to the size of the print.
#31
this site is making me waste too much money

iv already got a kodak easyshare printer that does the standard 4 x 6

i wouldnt mind this as well u know hmmmmm what should i do ???!!!

I agree its a good deal but that is NOT how voting hot/cold works, if that's how it works then hotukdeals would not exist just use google shopping to find the cheapest of an item you are looking for.

A Hot UK Deal is something people find good value in buying. These printers used to cost up to £100, that price coming down to a good price £25, I think its a good deal, not because its the cheapest but that's usually a given, like say for example the cheapest for this product anywhere is £40 and you listed it here at £40 being the cheapest I would vote it cold even though its the cheapest price available because to me I don't see it as a good deal, as £40 does not sound like im getting a deal price. A computer could tell you the cheapest price but it cant tell you what the best deal is.

The paper maybe small but so is the printer. I think you know what you are getting here and 70 for £14 is reasonable given you have the cash to splash on a novelty
#33
thanks op just ordered
#34
I'm really considering one of these heat added
#35
Great deal, just ordered one, good for prezzies, thanks!
