£19.99 @ misco, but its not for any serious use perhaps a novelty for kids. Paper is expensive too. But a nice gadet to impress at Xmas party so good find.

Great product have seen it in action a few times, however be sure to check phone compatibility here (http://www.polaroid.com/Products/Polaroid+PoGo/Compatibility/Compatibility/1390) as many phones will not work with the bluetooth function.

Thanks for this. Getting one for Christmas and just checked and my phone is compatible.

erm... my friend has a polaroid camera... so far i know we dun need to put ink to print the photos rite'?

Tiny tiny photos

It works well with a Nokia N97. Having said that the pics/stickers it prints are quite small and quality is poor to average.
#12
Great little novelty device to have; although not so much if you then unwittingly change to an incompatible phone as I did :?

I bought one of these from Boffer when they were first down to £20. Does anyone have any good sources for the photo paper? And is the photo paper still being made? The paper I've bought from two places online says "Best Before Jan 2010". So I'm wondering whether they're now crashing down in price because of a shortage of paper?
#14
It's a pretty neat device and a good price. It doesn't support iPhone or Samsung phones, unfortunately.
#15
Fantastic if you are someone who travels and likes to keep a travel journal.

Can your friend write too?

Stay away from it - you have to read the instructions!

I've bought two as Christmas presents this year and paid £21 which i thought was a good deal, this is def a good price.

Paper is tricky tho, as someone else said they seem to be Jan 2010 from Play which is annoying. Saying that, the paper that came with the device is good until Oct 2010 so i think it must be a case of where you buy it from.

Im going to contact play about the paper refill they sent me as 2weeks best before is not good imho!!

Anyway, lovely item for fun and not terribly expensive, would be good for sticking photos in cards or small albums etc, or for party fun :)

These dont need ink, they are heat i think?? They use 'zink' technology which is zero ink. All you need is the special paper to keep it going
#27
Yes, play is about the cheapest place i could find for a pack of 70 papers, but as i said before.. the ones i got last week only have a best before of Jan 2010 which is a bit crappy i think, especially considering the paper that came with the devices i got is good until Oct 2010 - much better!

Thats correct,I bought 1 about 6 weeks ago,no ink in them, thats why you need the special printing paper
#29
So you pay through the nose for the paper instead of the ink: same difference.

Sorry, I was just looking at the original compatibility list http://www.polaroid.com/Products/Polaroid+PoGo/Compatibility/Compatibility/1390 and it didn't show Samsung as a manufacturer... unless my eyes are really messed up >.<
