Research it before you buy! Yes it's cheap, it explains the tiny photo's with **** print quality!

Thanks techair, it is a fun item at £22 but I doubt there is much fun in winchys house with that attitude?

Posted lots of times at similar prices. Fun toy at this price (were £99.99 originally) but poor pics and expensive paper. Buy as long as you understand what you're getting.

Received mine yesterday - actually surprisingly good quality pictures pop out this hand sized machine, they are smaller than normal photos but sticky backed so can have fun sticking them around the home! And kids love using them for their phone photos.. great gadget!

THIS STILL SELLS FOR 80 - 99 quid in other shops !
(john lewis etc) so price really is great - quality item at a fun price - pick one up today!

I was going to ask if the paper costs a fortune or not...

aye this has been this price for best part of a year on amazon/zavvi etc...

I wish they had these when I got married - we used the old Polaroid sticky-photo camera (can't remember the name) for our wedding book. It was a good idea but at 1" square the photos were too small - this looks better. Sure it's expensive per-print, but it's not for everyday photos.

Do you have to have a polaroid camera or can you just print from an SD card?

My 11 year old daughter loves this! She takes photos with her friends on her mobile, bluetooths them to the PoGo for instant sticky pics. It's a FUN, NOVELTY item not a serious printer. As long as you think of it that way, it's a great gadget. Oh, and she pays for new paper from her pocket money ;)

I find the print quality alright tbh, was never expecting it to be the best but certainly better than I expected. Quality of the print actually seems to decrease from high res photos, so camera phones seem to be the best prints so far.

Fun fact - the size of the paper is pretty much exactly the same size as the iphone screen. Been tempted to print out the iphone home screen and stick it on someones phone :p

Any camera with PICTBridge will work with the POGO. You can also bluetooth images from most phones (not IPhone tho).

The paper seems to have a short shelf-life (like the old polaroid paper) something to do with the inks in the paper hardening and becoming less accurate or responsive I guess... So the cheap stuff you find (online & in-store) will be near it's best before. Does this matter? I took the risk and bought a load of packs from Boots before Xmas with a OCT09 date... Still working fine.

At work we keep our unopened polaroid & photographic film (yes we still shoot film!) in the fridge (and freezer) which holds them in stasis for yonks. I keep my ZINK paper in the fridge at home... don't know if it helps, but I can pretend it does..;)

These things are great. If you travel alot to far away destinations then a picture of your Taxi driver / Guide /
Holiday friend is a great gift and better that a cash tip. See any Rough guide and you will find that a large number of the worlds population has not got a photograph of themselves and this does the trick nicely. Take a snap with your phone and print it a few second later. Brilliant.

nice idea, don't expect 'pro' or even good results and only look at it as novelty prints.

got one as a birthday present and not printed much out but the hassle free bluetooth printing for the odd snap for my daughter has been great.

these are great for the money-just bought my daughter a pink one for her 12th b'day-she loves it!
The paper is currently around £8.50( for 70) on amazon too.

Can't fault this at all. A lot depends on the quality and brightness of the image you send it but otherwise, fun!
I often wonder what people expect for such a small outlay, and small dimensions. And no ink, very clever tech.

These are good fun, our 3 year old loves playing with his camera and fiddling around with it.

There's a review of it aimed at the kids market here. My one reservation would be that the additional paper we ordered seemed quite old and was perilously close to its "use by" date. Other than that, it does exactly what we wanted it to.

mine arrived this morning, only ordered it at 5 yesterday!
