So to recap it's only 19.99 for the printer, 6.04 for the paper and you need NO ink??

HOT stuff if thats correct :)

EDIT* i've just noticed this ...
Taxes, Duties, and Shipping not included in the product price.

was tempted to get one of these until i found out how big the pictures are (think they are about credit card size).

If they were the size of an old polaroid, then i would have got one.

Ah, that saved me answering that question.
That's a shame if they are that size as would've been pretty good deal otehrwise.

Yep
Paper Size: 50mm (2”) X 76.2mm (3”)

And the printer can only print 15 photos per "charge" :(

Hopefully they'll bring out 1 similar that does normal size photos for the same sorta price :)

Also worth noting that these dont work with the iphone, at least via bluetooth.

Yeh I bought this 2 weeks ago from the ebay deal of the day for £19.99 including delivery.... Paper for 70 sheets was the same.....
Its not the best pictures in the world and they are small, credit card sized as suggested above, but have already printed out a few images just for fun etc and its great for that.... Like a night out or out with friends or something....

No Ink?

Can someone explain this to me.

Its special paper like the old polaroid cameras
#14
The ink is pre-embedded in the sheets of paper, so it uses special paper.

the point is the paper, but in my opinion, as the size is too small, just for fun:whistling:

Unique ZINK technology: no ink needed for the Polaroid PoGo Printer, only these magic photo papers.

Sorry I've found out

Misco are doing it for the same price, incase it runs out of stock and you miss it on cdiscount:

Didn't Polariod go bankrupt?

The same question about ink has been answered 5 times :-D

This printer gets fairly awful reviews as a printer. It's a gadget, a novelty. It does not provide good quality prints. I see no figures on how long prints last (how or if they're UV protected or coated)

Prints are a non-standard size, smaller than normal "small" prints you'd have done from somewhere real.

6 quid per 30 sheets is 20p a print. That's four times as much as getting a real print would cost you.
That said, if you want to pump out little, low-quality pictures on-demand, this is about as good as you'll need. I'd buy paper in bulk because I can't see this hanging around for long.

What, you want to know about the ink? It doesnt need any!

It uses special 'fairy' paper which has inbuilt fairy dust to do it by magic! :) Hope this helps ;-)

Sure I saw them flogging these at double the price on Ideal World shopping channel a couple of days ago. Only stopped to watch as the whole process was not going well for the presenter at the time.
#22
Sounds like something most people will use a few times, get fed up of the cost of paper, diminutive size and quality of the prints and relegate it to a cupboard, only to find ten years later and wonder why the heck thay ever bought it in the first place!

:thumbsup:Thanks, plus there is a 5% discount code on here which brings the cost down to £14.24 plus cashback through Quidco.

As above - this was on ideal world the other night £35 plus delivery, came with 10 sheets of paper. The print quality the presenter got from the mobile phone picture looked pretty decent on TV - but as others say, small credit card size (if not smaller, by the looks of them) with a sticky back. I'd struggle to find a use for such a thing really.

But - as a novelty, even perhaps as a Xmas present for someone, this is a good price...
#28
Polaroid did go bankrupt but then someone bought the company and is making new stuff under the Polaroid name.
This was popular at a recent party, rather then everyone huddling around the screen of the camera I just printed them off. Then when people realised they had a sticky back they started sticking them everywhere and then on people.
Great laugh.
#29
bought one 2 months back, still using it. Photos are ideal wallet size for pictures of the family etc
#30
I bought one last month from Amazon for £33.99 which I thought at the time was good. Voted hot from me.

yes, the instructions :)

Great product for little pictures to stick on the fridge (the photos are credit card size), but not really a viable option for a photo printers. Great for printing mobile phone photos though as it has bluetooth.
My girlfriend actually got this for £49.99 I think not too long ago so VERY HOT DEAL!

By the way the papers are also stickers, so the back peels off and you have a sticker picture!
#33
I remember a guy with a demo one of these for £100! I knew it wouldn't be too long before the price fell so much. The quality seemed quite poor too.
#34
I feel sorry for Polaroid - they had a good thing going until digital cameras ruined their business and they have been pitching around ever since trying to think up some cool variation on the whole thing. Still with no success however. I've seen these prints and they are rubbish except as a (very expensive) novelty.
#35
possible 3% quidco aswell,

just ordered 2, i know 2 small people who will love this at christmas! Stickers you say, i also know to Adults i will **** off on chrstmas day too! :D

Foolishly sent this to my girlfriend thinking she wouldn't be interested. I just placed an order.

laze
#39
The paper for this is also on clearance at DSG stores, and they were £100 when they first arrived. The picture quality isn't great, more the size to fit in your wallet in the plastic panel, about one use I reckon.
#40
Kids toy!

Has crashed in price (was £99) so I guess it has to be hot from that point of view but pics v poor and I suspect paper won't be available for long (printers seem to be on clearout).

At this price buy it for a bit of fun but don't imagine it replaces a real printer in any way.

Sadly their cameras are dreadful too. I understand there is one on its way with this printer built in. I don't think the once respected Polaroid brand name will survive this rubbish for very long.
