I bought one for my other half and she loves it - but the prints are just for fun/sticking to the fridge etc., they aren't amazing quality and they do fade over time...

It's so easy to use tho - turn it on, send the file from your phone/PC (by Bluetooth) or Pictbridge camera (cable) and it prints in 1m or less.

Battery only does about 10 pics before recharging but you can print with it connected to the mains too.

DOES NOT work with an iPhone (thanks to Apple being anti-competitive and generally a bit crap) - there's a list of which phones definately work on the Polaroid site but if you can send a JPG image by Bluetooth, chances are it will work (our Nokia and SE phones all work fine as does Windows XP and OSX 10.4 at least).

DO buy some paper tho because with the camera phased out it will start to become hard to get - expect to pay about £10 for 70 sheets and don't worry about the expiry date (we've had paper over a year past that and it worked fine).

I should say that if you've jailbroken your iPhone it can be made to work but it's far more bother than it's worth.

The problem is that Apple have crippled the Bluetooth on the iPhone which limits it's usefulness (and locks you into their way of doing things ofc.)

apple will have to open up their bluetooth spec in time with bluetooth 3.0 or get left behind.

back on topic, like all polaroid things it's cheap and throw-away fun. buy as much paper as you think you'll use for the lifetime of the printer as consumables will only get more expensive.

you CAN get it to work with the iphone with some 3rd party bluetooth apps, that might require jail breaking though, im not totally sure. Basically if you can send a picture via bluetooth with your phone this will work.
