6 packs £1 in poundland

Can I be the first really grumpy poster who says that they remember when a packet of polos used to cost 7p please.
#3
They always give me indigestion for some reason :(

I also bought these for 6 for a £1 at Poundland but I found them to be inconsistent. Most were hard mints but some would crumble in the mouth within seconds like they were 'off' or something? Strange I know but I did wonder if they are made shoddier for forgeign markets (these had international wording all over). I know strange post but I was just wondering if anyone knew why they were 'unpredictable' :-D

Polo's have always done this. The rare soft ones are my favourite!

I am afraid I remember selling them in a shop at 2p a packet (R.P.) ;-(

Tesco Express are selling them at 50p a pack, seems they've doubled in price in the last few years.Prefer the spearmint ones, but 30p for original a pack is ok by my.

i'm sure i got seven packs at poundland recently ? In york ( home of the polo mint ) the poundland there sells polos shipped from nestle in indonesia, around 7000 miles away, the local nestle plant is a mile or so from york town centre...tree huggers ain't pleased

I guess global capitalism is winning the carbon emissions argument on this one...ps extra strong mints are also available from poundland in a multi pack, five or six inside..i'm going thru loads of em

Ahhh so it's a 'feature' lol. I have to admit there was something nice about an unexpected soft one. lol.
