Polo Ralph Lauren Custom Fit Polo @ John Lewis £45.00

If you like Ralph Lauren Polos then this is for you. Normally these polos cost £65 but there reduced to £45. Pretty cheap since these don't go on sale that much and are in fashion most of the time.

makes me laugh when people pay £65 for these...if you go to an outlet (like the one in swindon) these are much cheaper...they were £25 last year and were the same this year (i paid £22.50 - forgot my 10%)
#2
also you need to add it's only the green one that's reduced and limited sizes
#3
Much much cheaper at Bicester Outlet and far more choice;-)

Makes me laugh when people pay £22.50 for a polo shirt.

How can an 'off the peg' t-shirt be 'Custon Fit' ?

Its just slim fitting for the younger, trendier fit unlike the classic RL Polo which is for anyone over 10stone :whistling:

It is just called that as opposed to slim fit.

Yeah, it's a small fighting polo

Fair enough there cheaper in outlets but like myself and others who dont live anywere near the outlets this is a good deal. And why not spend £65 if you have the money.

Cheap ones aren't always rubbish quality.
I bought a polo shirt from Wilkinsons for £3.50 and it's still great after 3 years.
Doesn't pill, and doesn't shrink in the wash.

This sort of stuff costs virtually nothing to make yet you've paid, on average, over £40 per item. Yes you may have 'saved' £250 compared with RRP but you're being ripped off. I know for a fact that Henleys t-shirts cost between 90p and £1.10 to source dependant on the exchange rate and the volume ordered. Even the better quality stuff isn't much more expensive. Stores still make massive profit margins even when they clear stuff out at 'bargain' prices.

I cringe when I remember how much money I squandered on 'fashionable' clothes in my late teens/early twenties. I wish I'd put just 25% of it in a savings account.
