I did yesterday. Head first down the stairs on the plastic dust sheets. I used up what must be my last lives I recon. Face is swollen on one side and my shoulder is killing me but I so got away with it.

Stairs must be the only thing you would use these on though?
It's only 3' wide.

Not really, ideal as a runner around/along the wall when painting as the big drops of paint will be close to the wall. I am thinking of getting one to go with my proper dust sheets to go under rather than replace a carpet.

Waste of money, apart from anything hitting it can run it is thinner than tissue paper and about as strong. At least the woven part of this stops it running and is a decent thickness so you can walk on it.

I wasn't referencing the product, I was referring to the post about putting plastic sheet on stairs and what will happen that I posted a year ago. Concerning carpet protection rolls I've used various brands (Novi-pro etc) through work from numerous builders merchants and they've been tough, robust and hard wearing when down. Would be interesting to see a comparison of the different brands.

just get a decent tarpaulin, rinses with hose, also has eyelets for roping up and disposing of 'debris'
