This week the team at Pontin's have selected a variety of July and August family breaks that will cost an amazing £15 per person! For this amazing price you don't just get an apartment at Pontin's, we offer you so much more included totally free in the price of your holiday.

Pontins do however charge extra for different services later in the booking process so not sure how good final cost is.

This seems good price but I can only see very poor/bad reviews for pontins

We went to pontins prestatyn, (classic apartment) For the price (£10 for 4 days) how can you complain...? "You get what you pay for" :whistling:
The entertainment is enough to keep my 5 year old happy and she enjoyed every minute, it was a fine base for exploring N wales. So in that respect - worth it. The beach is devoid of any amusements so perfect for toddlers to play all day. - Watch the tide it comes in fast. Any complaints and problems they do resolve quickly.

BUT.

Do take your own bedding, sleeping bags, and cleaning products. the beds are not the best in the world and don't come near those found at the likes of Butlins and Haven.
Mattresses were once blue but now grey, ripped and saggy. :?

Take slippers - apartment carpets are filthy.
It is a community style layout, kids will play out on the grass - other neighbours can be noisey and will disturb your sleep if you have young ones and are early to bed.

Sit near the exits in the entertainment rooms - no ventilation and the delightful mix of B.O, stake beer and urine is enough to turn your stomach.
If you like your food literally floating in grease eat at the restaurant otherwise take your own.
The toilets (ladies) reak of disposable nappies and seem to rarely be cleaned.

Swimming pool is just a pool with a tiny slide (literally what you would find in a park) and had plenty of dead bugs floating in it.

If we go back we'll be taking out air bed, our ear plugs, and hiring a cleaner so we are not hit with a wall of must and mold when we walk in every time.

Don't you have a bath? Can you use the neighbours?

Sorry but its the worst holiday (supposed) that our family have ever had. So bad in fact we paid for 5 nights and left after 2 lol. Avoid at ALL costs... even at £15 ;-)

Me and my family had a great time , yes the accommodation is in need of updating and very basic but the entertainment and friendliness of the staff more than made up for it. The Bluecoats we're not false like at some holiday camps, really down to earth. Plenty of fun in the entertainment room where they involve everyone in the room. Rating 8/10
