Its such a shame, my ds has just turned 4 and so starts reception in September, this would of been great for us as prices are sooooo expensive in the october half term :(

Just come back from pontins in pakefield. What a dump. Accommodation is awfull / vile. The rooms stink terribly. The £75 vouchers are crap, mostly for 20p of this and that and generally useless. We didn't use any of ours. Events were crap. Not enough there to entertain kids for more than a few hours so ended up spending most of our time of site. To make it worse we paid quite a lot for 3 night break, but even at £39, this is not worth it. Please, please do not waste your time or money going to this or any other pontins. Don't just take my word for it. Check out Pontins on the Tripadvisor website where there are endless reviews similar to this. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.

Ive just come back from southport for the last week, weather was crap but lots of things were on offer for people to do, ok the accomodation isnt very good because its old and by the sea very exposed but then again we wasnt in the accomodation much at all.

We just took 15 people in 4 classic appartments, cost £1600, going to a Haven equvalent was £3000 and Butlins was even more and thats with less appartments cramming people in.

As they say you understand what you pay for, they are the budget brand now.

We have been to the Pontins in Prestatyn, North Wales and it was fab, we stayed in the club accommodation, courtesy of Tesco Club card, the rooms were clean and there was lots for us to do :)
