Lovely, classy Gazebo from Clas Ohlson. Seen them in-store and they seem pretty good quality. Nicer than the ones in Argos and more like the sort of thing you'd expect from John Lewis.

It concerned me that this was just the one on display in the shop and what would it be like after being put outside in the wind, rain etc. So decided to pass it up.

That was the same one I looked at! (i.e. in the Norwich store). Didn't notice the "worn patches", but I was looking a while ago now! Perhaps they have put out a customer return on display? I still think it is better quality than the Argos ones, plus it come with a two year warranty.

They look different... I think it is a matter of taste as to whether they look "better". I don't think the Mrs would be too happy about having that somewhat ugly (but functional) thing in the garden.
