It looks like the declining dollar and, perhaps, the recent announcement about the PCH C-200 led to a reduction in price for the A-110.
Please note you need to use the discount code "jolly" at checkout (10% off gadgets) in order to get the price of £161.10. 4% Quidco / Topcashback is available on top so this can effectively bring down the price to £154.65.

Good price on this though

It seems to do more for less.
AFAIK, the quality of video and audio is expected to be broadly the same on the 110 and 200 (it is possible that the 200 might support a few more types of weirdly encoded 1080p MKV files with L5.1 profile but this has not been confirmed).
Otherwise, the 200 has an LCD screen and can support up to two internal hard drives (or one hard drive + one blu ray player). The 110 can only support one hard drive and no blu ray player. The 200 will also have more RAM and a faster processor, which should enable the various Linux apps to run faster, e.g. Media Jukbox, Torrent / Usenet downloads and unpacking which apparently can get quite slow on the A110.
On the official Popcorn Hour US web site, the C-200 is priced at $299 (pre sales tax and pre delivery charges) while the A-110 is priced at $215 - so this gives an idea of the price differential to expect once this reaches the UK.

Looks good, I'd buy it if it support BT downloads.

If this works it will be awesome.
Great price for the popcorn hour. I would be tempted if I didn't already have a WDTV.
I need a media player and am in two minds weather to get one/several that have an internal hd or somehow keep all the files on an external somewhere and link up several players of it
Whats the best way to do it please ?

Actually that looks pretty good, am I right in assuming that this will support x264 as well?

Not heard of that before. That does look very promising (shame the shipping is so expensive) but still works out at about £101 delivered.
Will have to wait a bit and see how it REALLY compares.
Oh and their website advertising using it to play downloaded bluray rips is probably not a bright move :whistling:
It says x264 all over the intro video ;-)
