What a rip off!

Steam really annoys me with this crap! I've just paid £23.99 for this on DVD from gamestation..... but have to pay again if the other boy wants to play it!

No such problem when playing on the xbox is there?

It was 26.99 up until launch. Chances are the PS3 and Xbox360 versions will fall in price quickly, the former of which has the PC version bundled with it

Not sure about the 10/10 from eurogamer.

Anyone care to comment as to your own review score?

Cold as cold can be ... under £25 most places for a physical copy (still ties to your Steam account, but saves the bandwith of downloading it all too)

http://www.gamestracker.com/buy-portal-2-compare-prices-pc.htm

Just shows how off the mark Steam pricing is - only competitive with Retail during sales.

probably morons who never played the first, bought the second because of the hype and can't figure out how to get past the first few levels.

Metacritic is full of fanboys who hate anything that's different.

As Metracritic shows, Portal 2 on PC currently carries an average review score of 96 per cent. On PS3 the sequel also carries an average press rating of 96 per cent and Xbox 360's sitting on 95 per cent.

Here's a user that says it's a 10/10!

haven't stopped playing it since i got up at 5.30 this morning it is a fantastic game and as said the people who give it low scores are idiots who cannot figure out what to do as this one has some very difficult moments and you do really have to have your thinking cap on while playing
#15
I think the people giving it low scores are more annoyed about the value for money and the fact that there is (apparently) $80 worth of DLC on day one, some of which should have been included in the game.

There is no dlc out at the moment for this game. If anything it will be there money making scheme where to get portal 2 early people had to buy the potato sack games and play them constantly

As i don't have the game i can't check, but there are a number of people saying that there is an in game shop where you can buy skins, hats, dance moves, etc.

If he were playing on the 360, then both kids could play on the console. On the PC, they cant (without giving each access to each other accounts - which isnt really a good idea!)

It's a fine idea which solves your dilemma.

just checked and you sir are indeed correct i cant believe how much it all is aswell

The game is getting a lot of scorn for a 6 hour single player campaign and 4 hours co-op one, to add to the insult of the DLCs on day zero costing money!!!! EPIC FAIL no matter how good the game is. a short single player game is ONLY forgivable where theres a very long replay value on the multiplayer... which this doesnt have.

who gives a **** about dumb hats/avatar type DLC loool, wtf is everyone whinging about?
it's a great game, don't really understand what people expected from it. same as the first, but better, with more stuff. what more could you ask for? and to people saying it's 5 hours long, no, it isn't. unless you're playing with a walkthrough or are some kind of puzzle genius.
#23
some people would still find something to whinge about if they had Kelly Brook in their lap. geez ****ing louise! stick to COD if you can't hack your games a little bit different.
