Bought one from BnQ last year at a discounted price and it was great!

Will call in this afternoon and check out the local store prices, hopefully they will be equivelant.

Thanks

Went to Homebase in the week up to Xmas last year and they were giving them away for free. Would have cost them in skip money otherwise they said.
#3
going to b and q later
#4
Where is the link to it online please?

A couple of years ago my mum was a bit lazy and didn't look for a tree until Christmas eve...she got a huge tree for 99p!

Just Got Back From A Fruitless Visit To BnQ Cheetham Hill Manchester :-(

No Real Christmas Trees Reduced Yet!

Although we did get some gold baubles reduced to £0.99 from £2.98 for 9

So Not Too Fruitless Afterall :-)

"it rang through the till at 9.99!!"

maybe you had to take it to the checkout first??:?

I'm just about to ring my mum who's shopping not far from my local b n q to see if I can get one :santa:

Thanks to OP

I pass two B&Q's on my way home, don't think the missus would be very impressed though, 7ft is probably just a bit bigger than our ceiling and I'd have to chop the top off it :(
#10
I'm sure they have 6ft ones for £9.99 in. Although they probably aren't non-drop..

It's not lucky if the trees are priced at £29.99 and the barcodes have been programmed at £9.99. I think you should've waited before voting to see if a few people have got the deal in different stores. :)
#16
well that explains it then, not a nationwide thing. someone spotty teen on minimum wage half asleep did it, clearly....

The BIG discounts have always been on Christmas Eve at B&Q - Got a load of decs, fibreoptic villages/santa at 75-90% last year. Will be going in the afternoon again this year:thumbsup:

Our local branch have £9.99 trees...They are the old fashioned, ordinary trees. Still not a bad price.
The equivalent non drop trees are £29.99

just want to add this wasnt reduced it was mispriced!

This has been advertised on TV now. 7ft Nordic Spruce reduced from 29.99 to 9.99 at B&Q. Bought mine today, not sure if it's "non drop" though, but certainly a lovely 7ft real christmas tree at a great price.
#26
Did the ad mention how long the offer is running for?

I'd prefer to wait until the middle of next week before getting a tree so it lasts until new year.
#27
Can anyone confirm if this is non drop please.
#28
yes deffo non drop
#29
just been to local b and q and still going through till at 29.98 :x
#30
I think the tv ad said trees from £9.99p not reduced to.
#31
Just out of curiosity with b&q being so good with refunds has anyone tried buying an artificial tree using it for xmas then returning in new year for a refund? I bought one last year with the intention of doing it, but when it came to the crunch I didn't have the balls!
#32
Checked 2 B&Qs and even had them scan the trees.

Comes up at £29.99

They do have 9.99 trees so maybe the OP got his when the labels were mixed up?
