I have upgraded to brand name products now that I shop in Poundland. Fab Halloween stuff in there too which I've seen at 3 times the price in the bigger supermarkets!

Some of these are cheaper at places online like Pharmacyfirst.co.uk or chemist direct

Not when you factor in the £2.95 delivery.

it depends how much you buy doesnt it! If you buy a few things, say 10 then a) you may get free postage or b) you will leesen the postage cost per item and it is still going to work out cheaper, and finally c) you don't have to leave the house! lol

I still wouldn't pay three quid postage for anything bought from a retailer. But then again, if you're agoraphobic, I guess this makes sense.

I know what you mean, but when you make such a big saving on the items that you actually buy the postage becomes insignificant because it is eaten up by the savings! For example i bought a load of Lemsips and Strepsils from Pharmacy First (as mentioned above) and saved about £13 off what I would have spent in Boots! I ended up spending just under the £35 free delivery threshold but wasnt bothered because i still saved £10!

I'm smiling at the though of you with a massive box of Strepsils and Lemsips - did you have a chronic manflu or was it just careful planning? Fair play though, they are dirt cheap and if you keep a big medicine cabinet it must make sense.

Got a few kids and stuff so makes sense to stock up! Can't hurt to be prepared!
