That's why I said "Use code TD-HY54 to buy at this price". And is your opinion based on your experience of this set or conjecture? Yes, of course it isn't a top of the range set, but for any part time DIYers it's a bargain

I agree , a good deal for the d.i.y ers who like to mess around, like my dad
#5
Looks quite a bargain to me!
Must resist.

No one can complain at that price! I could do with just the bench alone but £50! might just go for it. Heat it up!

Might have to go for these..

In the past year I have bought the sander for £7.50 and the drill for £5.00 during a 'sale' event at my local TESCO store..

The drill failed after 6months but as i did not have the receipt I was left to repair it myself and it was as simple as a loose wire on the switch inside.

Still going strong after some serious use but definately not as quick as my professional kit.

This bundle is definately not worth original the £120 but just about worth the £10 each it equates to now for the novice DIYer.

Stop promoting Fischer Price, do you work for them andywedge?

These were £40 the other week im sure, £50 is about its money not a great bargain IMO similar items are £52.91 at Argos

Not voting either way as you can buy these tools for around £10 each and for buying the whole lot I would expect a discount. £50 seems a good price but not a bargain.

If you have a diy job lined up and have none of the tools then this would be a good buy.

This is not hot from me either - sorry...these are not quality tools which will end up breaking with even light use... better to buy a decent drill which will last you several years for £40 - (like this one...

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/644930/site-smb800-14-4v-cordless-combi-dr

this will be better than either the cordless screwdriver or the corded drill in this bundle and will stand the test of time.

Then you can spend a further £15 (or cheaper on 15% day) on a cheapy workbench from homebase (5* reviews) http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=20001&partNumber=458664&Trail=searchtext%3EWORKBENCH

...the only thing you are then missing is the sander - you can pick these up for a £6 in most sales - (such as this one... http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/7105317/Trail/searchtext%3ESANDER.htm)

My package comes to £61 - presuming you cannot get these in the sales even cheaper... appreciate it's £11 more but tools are like most things in life - if you scrimp then you'll curse yourself later. I've purchase cheap tools in the past and quickly regretted the purchases...
