From the creators of some of the greatest guitars ever to grace the rock stage Gadgetshop has come across an iconic, dream fulfilling masterpiece....The Power Tour Electric Guitar. Never before has it been easier to strum a power chord. And not just any power chord. With the Power Tour Guitar users brandish the rocking potential that would see the likes of Eddie Van Halen, Jimmy page and Slash, go week at the knees.

Whether you're a rock legend in the making, or musically incompetent, the Power Tour Guitar is capable of creating an incredible sound. Styled to look like the Gibson SG electric guitar, this portable instrument features a built-in speaker and dual-function knobs that let you add cool effects to your sound and enable tone selection that suits your playing style - including metal, punk, rock and indie.

The guitar incorporates a specially designed strum sensor which means there are no strings and no plectrum needed to play. Simply strum your fingers across the bridge and sensors will pick up the speed and direction of the motion; the guitar responding by emitting an immense power chord.

There's also a mode that teaches you how to play the guitar. Simply follow the lights and you'll be pounding out power chords, shredding leads, and rocking right out of the box. Learn to play six different rock classics, including "Wild Thing" and "Smoke on the Water." Connect the guitar to your MP3 player (not included) and strum along to your favourite tunes, or rock out solo and compose your own monster anthem!

You've never rocked this hard, this easy!

Picked up two of these at Christmas for £12.50 each (Boots toy sale)

They are unbelievably good value and great fun for big kids too.

Check out this guy playing one. (He makes it look easy...but it ain't!)

got one :)
From theentertainer just afer xmas!

Amazing, play mine most days!
It's pretty easy to play, i think if you play guitar you definetly have an advantage, the main thing to used to is the strumming, it's weird using the pad of your finger rather than the nail/pick.

Great fun though!

Or whatever stock they had left, they had about 10 at the Isle of Wight store the other day...

Just the thing I was looking for my boy. Good find.

I got one of these from The Entertainer and it's a right laugh! I'm a guitarist already, but I have this at work (recording studios at a university) and it usually gets brought out to make clients or students giggle. At least two other people I work with have got them now as well!

Playing "Ace Of Spades" on it with the accompaniment is pretty special :)

Good deal!

I have voted cold, not that good a deal. I have never seen it for sale at £64.99, HMV in Hammersmith has it for £20, and I bought it from Gadget shop over Christmas for only a tenner, so whilst it is a great wee toy, £15 + £4 post isn't really that hot.

BOO-HOO
On the web site 'go to deal' it states they were 69.99 so unfair of you to vote cold.

I'm sure 3 minutes could have been more useful on a good toilet visit rather than writing that tosh.
