What does "Elongated dimension (mm): 454*1330*1710" mean?

Whats the max height these can be?

Not repeating "step" would have taken care of that, but hey, why let accuracy stand in the way of posting an artificially low price! :whistling:

Not repeating "step" woiuld have tken care of that, but hey, why let accuracy stand in the way of posting an artificially low price! :whistling:

Then it would have been a "ladder" and not a "step ladder", I think there is a difference. :whistling:

I think the height is 1.71 meter max. fully extended.

£67 seems over-inflated for a simple step ladder, the discount is not that high.

A word of caution. Not all step ladders are safe, even though they carry a BS safety cert. I had an accident with a cerificated ladder and would never buy a ladder which I cannot test in the shop for safe onstruction. You could send it back but than you have to pay the postage.

Perhaps, but a difference that didn't seem quite so significant when you use that very description not in the heading, but in the text!:

"Extra Value 5 step ladder"

lol lmfao what a classic, listen, you aint doing anybody any good, not least yourself. you just sounding more and more of a muppet. this is my real profile, yeah i dont post much but so what, i'm a mod on another forum and post much more as and when i feel required. dont flatter yourself, i didnt login here just to 'have a go at you' i logged in and looked at the deals, when i just happened to see you mocking a poster of a good deal. well at least this guys is going outta his way to bother posting - thanks to the op btw.

i couldnt help myself replying because it is exactly your type that turns decent helping members away. if you aint go nothing constructive to say, get lost because you wont be missed for your criticisms.

regards,

buzzin

oh i forgot... if it is that easy to get on your ignore list it is a wonder you see anyones post

Good post OP. Hot from me.
#15
Now correct me if I am wrong, but some unknown make stepladder, of unknown spec, costing a total of £18.34 is the hottest deal around, when a BS 2037 class 3 branded one:
http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.100-3605.aspx
is only £21.49 anyway! ( and similar at the same price at Argos)

It also gets pseudo-experts popping out of the woodwork to come and hurl abuse too.

I would hate to see what response a real good deal would produce!
#16
Good deal OP thanks for posting heat added.

yeah i'll correct you no problems, this ladder is just over £12 + delivery or £12 when u spend £50 free del. people probably dont mind paying it. when it starts getting over £21 a lot of people probably are put off buying or maybe cant afford it. it is a decent deal not an utterly amazing deal but nobody has said that as far as i can see - you just made it up in your head? mind you, u did forget the postage costs from tesco too!

correct me if i'm wrong, if this wasnt a very good deal it would be cold right? well guess what - it isnt!

now stop moaning and post something constructive and you might find others follow suite.

it amazes me about your comments re. pseudo-experts popping out of woodwork hurling abuse... no one is hurling abuse, just pointing out that you are being hypocritical of people posting decent deals making effort when they didnt have to. to be honest i wont be responding further, i find you a waste of space.

Take your arguments elsewhere guys, this seems like a pretty good deal to me and its very useful as I am looking for a step ladder, so I will definitely consider this one... good post OP
#23
HOT, went for the Power4Life 6 step household ladder. 13 odd delivered. Thanks OP.

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/130867

The reason was because its elongated length is over 3m, so Id imagine the two sides will lock together to make one long ladder which is far more useful than the others imo.

Personall i think this was a very helpful posting so thankyou.

This is what i posted some 4 months ago...................

I registered on this site almost two year ago and in that period of time i have bought or been alerted to many bargains, which is exactly what the site was created for.
Lately i have noticed more and more that some people continually criticise and i some cases slaughter posts.
I realise that there has to be rules and regulations and some posters do purposely attempt to bend or totally flout rules but for the serious members with sincere intentions then i think its very unfair and will eventually disuade genuine members from posting.
Like i said just an obsevation and in my personal opinion certain members need to be reminded what this sites function is.
I would like to personally thank the site for many opportunities.

Voted hot for no other reason than nihcaj seems like a cock.

Seems like??? lol
I've never come across anyone before now who thinks their opinion is the ONLY opinion, is convinced his views are representing everyone and that anyone who disagrees with those views is wrong and counts for nothing...

BTW thanks for the great post - just ordered one, have some rep and some heat!
Must be nearly worth its price in aluminium lol!

Good choice mate, I have that dvd player and for the price its excellent!!!
#35
Cheers, repped and ordered 4 ... one for each leg.
#36
not taking delivery charge off for me: order over £50... super saver selected..still charging £19.99
#37
Has everyone/anyone noticed that these 'foldaway' ladders fold around the steps? I.e. the steps themselves are hinged so fold so all four uprights are next to each other. So they really do occupy a small space. Difficult to describe but if you look at the 'gallery' on the ebuyer site you'll see what I mean.
Voted hot, although the same brand is advertised on Ebay and some of the prices are quite similar
#38
Damn I'd never think of eBuyer for a ladder!
Brilliant prices though, hot hot hot...

The site working for anyone or is it just down for me?
