good deal and thus voted hot, but are these actually any good or is it just a "placebo" effect?
#2
If it's a placebo and it works then even better ! To be honest, I've done a lot of training with and without them, and they do make a difference, taste great as well & I don't work for Coca Cola :)

Cracking deal ! Just stocked up on 40 bottles ;)

My 40 bottles arrived this morning, very quick delivery - might order another 40 for tomorrow... Other great offers I got from Tesco included 2 J20 packs of 4 for £5 & B1G1Free on Pringles Rice. Managed to use a £4 off £40 voucher to bring delivery to £5.50 so all in all a bargain shop.

I often get these for 4 for 99p at Home Bargains, they sometimes have the red ones too (and the clear ones, goodness knows what they are, my son loves them tho)
#9
Good price. Asda have them on offer at 2 packs of 4 for £4, so this deal is much better.

Good price - I get them from Home Bargains too but you can't rely on them ever having any in.

They are water, sugar, caffene and a few nasty chemicals (some of which are banned in other parts of the world)!

try reading this article...personally I wouldn't touch Powerade.....not after reading what's in the damn stuff!!!......

http://www.karinya.com/sportsdrinks.htm

Here's a bit which may interest you.......

" Why drink sports drinks at all? To rehydrate the body faster than with water. That is the supposed purpose of sports drinks.

Problems: The fructose in HFCS is not bound up in sucrose, resulting in more of it getting into the system faster - affecting the liver and bodily function. Not to mention that fructose also depletes the body of its minerals faster than glucose - causing exhaustion rather than relieving it. Is that why PowerAde has some extra vitamins?

Note that these adverse effects of fructose are most severe in the growing children consider what your child (and you!) are drinking.

Great price, about 1/3 of what I usually pay per bottle at the gym. Duly stocked up.
