You just pull back along a hard surface

You could do that with the original anyways, just took a little practice.

where does 'Autostart' fit in when you have to 'pull it back'!!

Quite a few of the reviews at Amazon say it's easier to start than the string pull ones. That's more "auto" than the "manual" string but I guess that's not going to be a good enough description for the pedants.

A keep fit ball with an add-on for lazy people :|

Maybe, but I found the original quite fiddly and difficult to get started. If this is easier to start but still gives the same workout I'll be happy with that.

Hmmn, a lazy comment there me thinks and you obviously have never used one then, eh? (_;)

These are great for people who work out, people who are maybe chairbound and would like to keep up a relatively easy fitness program and especially good for those who have to use their hands everyday (so that's everyone, bar Abu Hamza then ;) ). Especially good for preventing RSi and alleviating aching joints etc.

I was curious as to what this Poweball thingy actually was. I did a quick search for it and now wish I hadn't lmao

Meh I could start the old one's with just my thumb so auto start won't really make a difference also £21 for one of these is a RIP OFF they are usless safe yourself some money and do a couple of push ups you will get better results :)

I just received mine and it's dead easy to start. Haven't managed to get beyond 9000RPM yet though (max 8889 so far).
It's a weird technique but I'm sure I'll have it up to 12000RPM+ in a day or two!
I didn't think much of the so called "deluxe case"!
