# Unconditional Powerball Lifetime Warranty
# Includes LCD readout displaying RPM

Introducing Powerball - one of the most unique and dynamic products available today - 8 world records and counting!

Powerball is a dynamic and completely revolutionary new gyroscope that literally explodes with mind numbing torque and inertia once you activate its internal rotor.

It's about the same size as a tennis ball and weighs just a little more, but take a Powerball in your hand, set that rotor in motion with the cord provided (or use your finger when you get used to it) and you'll experience an extraordinary sensation:
Power ball slowly comes alive with gyroscopic force - a sublime yet pleasant resistance to your movement which is transmitted directly into your wrist and arms and which provides soothing, non-impact rehabilitation at these lower speeds.

Good price for this version. RRP is £25ish but can normally get for £15ish - so £9.99 seems a good find to me.
#2
I think that's the cheapest I've ever seen the Pro version for. It's usually £12.99 or £14.99
#3
good price, especially as it has the lcd display
#4
apologies but what does it do ?
#5
Don't forget the Quidco! Probably only 20p though.....

sorry - cold. this is exactly the same as the science museums strength ball going for £10 at debenhams and other various locations

It's hard to explain.

You have to start the ball of inside first by putting the end of a bit of string in the hole of the ball, twisting it around, then pulling the string to start the ball spinning.

You then have to sort of twist your wrist to get the ball spinning faster.

It's resistant so really works your muscles.

It really kills your arm after about 10 seconds haha, if you're a wimp like me.

It's quite good fun though.

At least that's my version of what it does! No doubt I'll be corrected!!

Good price for a quality item. I've had one for about four years now and it's still going strong. Good for exercise, to supplement sports (great for anything involving grip work e.g. judo or BJJ and probably tennis, golf etc.) and for rehab on forearm/wrist injuries (currently what I'm using mine for). The light and counter always seem to me to be a bit superfluous though.

What a fap-tastic device!

:-D

If you have a dirty mind watch the video. I'm buying one just based on that. Careful you don't go blind though.

After watching that video I am guessing that I already have the skills required to be classed as an expert.
So I'll buy one for my wife instead...
#14
i have one without the display, works a treat.
has anyone tried running both hands at the same time?!
#15
Excellent price! It was £14,.99 yesterday.
#16
Ordered. There's a prezzie for the nephew sorted, hopefully it'll strengthen his golf grip :-)
#17
I own one of these, or did. The rubber grip became to icky after leaving it out in the sun. Extra strings come in handy tho as the plastic bit that grips and spins the ball comes off lose pretty easy if not operated correctly.

The device itself is bloody fantastic. It really does work the bicep.

I warn you not to get the Science Museum ones. I got one and after a short time is started vibrating and making a terrible rattling noise. It cant be taken apart without breaking it either. I tried another one out at Debenhams and it was just as bad.

A friend then got one of these and the difference is massive. A much better unit all round, better made and you will be able to get the rpm higher too.

Is this noisy when you're using it? My OH is always fiddling with things when we're watching tv and it drives me mad!

I'm thinking this might be a good alternative to a stress ball if it's not noisy?

Yes, I have. It's difficult to do at first, but you get there with practice

Excellent deal btw :)

Temporarily gone out of stock now, but one can still buy at the same price & "will be dispatched as soon as it arrives".

I ordered the Original one (without the display and lights) from Play about 2 days ago at £8.99 would have rather had this one for the extra pound, but it was £14.99 at the time!

Great find H&R added

Yeah. It is very hard to do. It is not too bad when they are both spinning but when one slows down, you try to compensate a bit too much and usually end up losing both.
#30
it's out of stock :x
If I order now will I only pay 9.99 when they get more or could the price increase??

Pretty stupid thing to say really, that's like saying you found a plain black shirt identical to a nike one at the same price

Yes, it'll be the price at which you place your order - so place your order now before the price increases!

Would agree with this - the difference in quality is noticeable.

It's not a 'stupid thing to say' - just ignorant :)

The science museum version is very uncomfortable as the top digs into your palm

Super hot deal!

The weird thing is that Play actually have the red and blue versions of this on sale at 14.99 and 16.99 - as far as I am aware they are exactly the same just different colour. I have ordered the green version even though it was saying out of stock and my order has been processed and confirmed at this price.

Is it better to get one with a lcd screen or without (for £5)? What does the screen actually show? Thanks

From Powerball website: "The additional RPM Counter allows you to monitor daily increases in strength and adds the competitive edge when challenging friends and colleagues for the highest score".
