It seems all Powerballs at Play.com have now been reduced furthur! they were £17.99 last time i checked, but now £14.99 for the Pro and Signature range, and £7.99 for the original (no display) one!

ALSO, all Powerballs come with a choice of a free gift! A Powerball Stressball, Leather Pouch or Keyring!

And dont forget 4% Quidco!!!

Introducing Powerball - one of the most unique and dynamic products available on the web today - 8 world records and counting!
Powerball is a dynamic and completely revolutionary new gyroscope that literally explodes with mind numbing torque and inertia once you activate its internal rotor.
It's about the same size as a tennis ball and weighs just a little more, but take a Powerball in your hand, set that rotor in motion with the cord provided (or use your finger when you get used to it) and you'll experience an extraordinary sensation:
Power ball slowly comes alive with gyroscopic force - a sublime yet pleasant resistance to your movement which is transmitted directly into your wrist and arms and which provides soothing, non impact rehabilitation at these lower speeds.
You want more?
Take it higher...much higher!
Bring your new Powerball up...up to 10,000rpm...the forces are now much stronger, much more vibrant. Higher! Take it to 12,000rpm...no, higher still...take it right up, thrashing and jerking as your arm and wrist try to control and calm it down, faster and faster it spins until you have it up to an unbelievable 15,000rpm at which point it's exerting almost 40lbs of pressure on your limbs and is travelling at nearly 250 revolutions per second - no batteries, no motor, just pure gyroscopic power - the fastest human propelled device ever created!

Cheers, shame I bought my cousin one on sunday and paid more, not arrived yet and they drop the price :(

Did get a choice of a leather pouch, stress ball or keyring for free though like this one.
#2
do play.com refund the difference? I know that Amazon UK do, might be worth looking into....
#3

Good price on this :)

I got one of these, good fun for about 10 minutes but a bit of a dust collector. Quite a good laugh if you have some mates over, and try and beat each other's speeds, but other than that its completely useless!!

It is actually pretty good for exercising your hands. I got mine for hand rehabilitation after suffering a broken wrist and it really helped build the strength back. That said it is collecting dust now! :P Its just one of those things which are really useful if you get into the habit of using it regularly.

I must admit that there are much more enjoyable ways of exercising your arms...just remember to keep alternating if you don't want to end up with my fate! ; )
#9
Had one ages ago. They are fun for a while, but you soon get bored of it.
#10
I use mine quite a bit. Leave it in the living room, so always using it when watching tv or browsing on the latop. Great for working your wrist and forearm (if you like climbing etc...)
#11
Cheers for replies.

I had one last year but mother hoovered up the starting string so can't really use it anymore :( As said does get boring but fun to begin with.
#12
I use mine all the time, same as previous poster leave it in the sitting room and frequently use it while watching tv. Great for building strength and dexterity in the fingers/wrist

Looks like a good price. My mum has been having problems with carpal tunnel in her wrist so just bought one. It will probably end up as a dust collector but at least that's one Christmas pressie sorted!
Cheers OP

Awesome deal.
Powerballs rule, been using mine for 7 months now. Excellent for people who spend too much time on computers :p

At this price, you can't go wrong!
#18
I saw this deal last night, I ordered the Signature Powerball on Monday morning and it was dispatched on Tuesday evening and a few hours later, they reduced the price by £3. :x

If they don't price match the difference, it's not much of a problem, as I still thought it was a good deal to get the Powerball and a free gift for £18.
#19
Excellent ive been wanting to play with one, So brought the misses one as a stocking filler so will wait till she gets bored with it

thrashing and jerking of the wrist?

don't think I need one.....
#21
I got mine on the powerball site direct... 20euro.

It's great, i play with it in traffic, in my office, at home.. the thing never leaves my side and it's actually a really good workout... every part of your arms hurts after a long stint..

Its non abrasive, your just rotating your wrist - like sturing a cup of tea for a while.
#23
Thanks neeny just ordered one, getting cramps in my right hand and wrist pain from playing too much Unreal Tournament 3 I already go to the gym but hardly ever work out my wrists/forearms, had been meaning to get one for ages this deal makes it worthwhile.

have to agree, bought my brother one last xmas and we all had a laugh with it for about 1/2 hour. It's probably collecting dust somewhere in his room now :giggle:

My partner though (who works on the computer everyday) did say it was good for people like him, might get him one for xmas now.

You can start it with your hand. Takes a few tries to get enough spin, but once you get used to doing so you shouldn't need the string.

Did anyone add one of the free gifts to their order when ordering the powerball? I did and they seem to have charged me for it.

Can't seem to find a link to email them about it though?

Look properly, they've charged you £1.99 for any of the free gifts but they've deducted that off the powerball itself..... I think they did this for Tax reasons because they dispatch all items individually and if they sent out an item saying it's free, customs may think they're trying to dodge VAT.
