WHY are these going up in price, i got mine for £195 ( dabs ) about 3 months ago, great card but not a great deal, if your not in a hurry wait... they will flood the market again soon:thinking:

Yeah poor ATi and their profit margins :(.. In reality tho, the RRP of the cards hasnt changed since laucnh afiak...

TMSC have mostly sorted out their problems now from what I heard. So supply of 5850 and 5870 cards should start improving and as they do, it'll force the retailers to slash prices back to where they should be. Some places have behaved disgracefully tbh, but can hardly blame them as people have been stupid enough to pay it and nVidia are still just all talk on Fermi.
Anywho.. This is a reasonable price for a 5850 if your in a hurry, but give it a few more weeks and you'll be paying well under 200 notes for one and not have to give those 200notes to OCuK either.
