Why is this so cheap?! Is this a doggy seller, or the card not as good as Saphire or MSI versions?!

I'm not sure why it's so cheap but other sellers have that price too: http://www.morecomputers.com/product.aspx?pn=AXRX%20480%208GBD5-3DHD%2FOC&man=PowerColor&referer=PriceSpy

I'm gonna bite :)

Not sure. Seller offered a paypal as payment method, and they are present on ebay with good feedback (http://stores.ebay.co.uk/PacetechUK) so I went ahead and ordered it.

There are several sellers with similar prices for this card (https://pricespy.co.uk/product.php?p=4003916) so I think that some supplier gave that price.

About performance: not really sure till I have it, but even if it's 10% less than Saphire (which I doubt), price/performance ratio will still be way much better for this one.

Whatever you do don't use Paypal or amazon if you want s.75 protection

Just doesn't seem right this

Screw it. Tried twice using chrome and then again using Opera and it keeps failing. Dunno what's going on. Not going to risk it anymore.

I'd love to know the outcome of this, if it actually goes through for people and receive it for that price then great deal. But I just don't trust this.

Well, I got to the point where I paid the order and got an email several hours later about shipment. Obviously we will need to see what (and if) will arrive

ON the side note, see https://www.google.co.uk/shopping/product/17527421955136094585?q=PowerColor%20Red%20Dragon%20Radeon%20RX%20480%208GB&num=50&safe=off&client=firefox-b-ab&cr=countryUK|countryGB&biw=1458&bih=771&prds=scoring:tps

Several other shops has it in that price range, ie.. Transparent (Certified shop by google) says that it's in stock for 156 + ss.

Make me wonder as well why that price drop, supplier error maybe?

Agreed. Has anyone actually managed to order one?

My guess is all those sites use the same suppliers and some of them just aren't updating with the correct (zero) stock info. Would be amazed if these get sent out tbh.
#12
Even I'm not sure if these will get sent out, way too good to be true, these cards go for easily £220+. Heat added if legit though
#13
Seems to have gone through okay with Transparent (who are actually based fairly close to me and offer Google Trusted Protection). It was about £10 more so we shall see.

I've gone with Pacetech on this one as looking to downgrade my 1070. I don't think they will be honored but we shall see.

Wait. Isn't it Trump's inauguration today. Maybe he borrowed money from Powercolor!

No chance.
Perhaps a 4GB version at a stretch but it's certainly a misprice.

Saw this price drop this morning. Didn't bother buying or posting the deal as I don't fancy the hassle of sending back a rx470 or whatever arrives, if anything.

Good luck folks

You say that but the EAN, images title etc all match, so I don't think the wrong item would be sent, it's more likely going to be honored or not, and the less people buy, the more likely it is to be honored, so I'm glad there are skeptics

The Gigabyte G1 !

My theory is that I only game at 1080p anyway, and while 144hz is nice and the 1070 pushes the frames out nicely on most games, the 480 will still do so on easy to run games like Rocket League and CSGO which are my 2 main PC games atm, so I can downgrade and use the extra money toward a Nintendo Switch :p

Some shops use a common source for prices to keep them competitive; then if they make a mistake it appears everywhere.

Happened a couple years ago with microsoft keyboards.

one ordered :D

Hey guys, it's around midnight now and I will wait until morning to check the prices again. I live in eastern Europe but my uncle lives in London, so I'm having him buying a GPU for me in UK because prices here suck and he's coming on regular basis. Can you guys who ordered tell us is this for real? I wanted to call my uncle tomorrow but then I saw it's out of stock on Pacetech, bummer. This is a blowing deal, I was going to 'buy' the RX 470 4/8 GB for around 200 pounds, and now RX 480 8 GB is going for 154 pounds, whaaaat? I'm having my hopes high. (245 pounds in my country)
Back me up please, this is a big thing for me.
