Powerline 85Mbps HomePlug Single

Manufacturer: Netricity

Use the mains wires to send networking signals - no need to lay Ethernet cables throughout the house
Converts Ethernet to a signal that transmits through the power circuit
Up to a 200m transmission distance
Single unit to go alongside other powerline products, purchase two to create an easy network between two computers

This is truly the easiest way to network your house or office. Simply plug one HomePlug into a mains socket and another within the house to create a network. You''ll no longer have wireless signal problems or have to drill holes in walls and ceilings to feed the Ethernet cable.
Note - surge protectors may reduce or stop the operation of powerline products.

Sorry , not for us . You'd need to buy at least two of these for a network plus the Ethernet cables to then connect to the devics . Oh , and it doesn't support Vista .

not quite true, the hardware will work ok with vista, never found any of these that wouldnt and have used a dozen diff types.
They are excellent for when wireless lets u down and a lot easier/tidier than laying cables, the price on these is just avg tho as i've purchased similar ones at this or less many times

I have got this product and it does work, although it gives me a lot of problems as I think my electricity circuit is old skool. I eventually just laid ethernet cables.

then take a tip from me get the circuit looked at now, the only time i have seen these not work was in a "dodgy" socket in my m8's house, two weeks later that socket blew taking his new tv out with it before the circuit breaker kicked in
