Practical and educational, this cute penguin torch teaches children how to make their own power!
The only energy that it uses is from its wing - by squeezing it you can either use the energy straight away to power the super bright LED bulb, or save it for another time and another adventure! One minute of squeezing is enough to generate up to 5 minutes of shine time, with a beam of up to 20 metres.

Very true.

They had these in my local Its A Gift a while back, my kids have had 3 so far... all broke within a very short space of time, the light dims very quickly and will not charge back to full shine regardless of how often you squeeze.

In keepign with the previous analogy... it is a bit like brewers droop unfortunately, no amount of reviving makes it up to much.

Just picked one up today from Tesco for £1. Also had snowman shaped version for £1.

are these the same quality as the ones mentioned above for £1....? if so, cold! if not, hot - stocking filler!

These same ones are £2.99 delivered on eBay.

Great torches for the dark nights, have two here, over a year old and still going perfect, considering the use, great deal
