Looks like a lot of phone for the money.

Heat from me, a QHD 6" Screen for £110? 32GB ROM good and SD slot, negatives being last gen processor, no NFC and Android 5.1. Thinking of ordering as a stop gap, can't find any reviews though.

good spec but if I was going to go for a no brand 'tablet replacement' phone I'd probably go for the below just for battery life alone - the PPTV is clearly a better device and much nicer screen but I think the Ramos will offer a more rounded experience

Plenty of vids on YouTube.

FYI, PPTV is one of the biggest online TV/movies provider in China, similar to LeTV. Not saying they are good with phones.

I'm tempted to go for this. Was concerned about the malware he mentioned on his other phone

Yes me too but that was on another make of phone. Always a risk I guess, have been hanging on for the Huawai Mate 9 which will be announced later this year so not available until next year I guess. This will be a good replacement for my dying LG G3, also matching the QHD resolution, worth a punt I think.

Anyone know whether these ship with lots of lovely malware?

no band 20 :(. It looks like a great phone though

And for lolipop only. Well, my wife got KitKat on her LG g2 and I see no reason for anything newer than KitKat, runs perfectly and all apps we use are there

I thought that about my old HTC then I got a Chinaphone with 5.1 and it was like the difference between night and day.

To be fair WiFi was terrible on the old HTC too.

Actually one of the questions on the Banggood site and reply is that you can install Google Apps, even shows Google Play installed in one of the screenshots.

Got the LG g2 with kitkat and flex 2 with marshmallow and I see no real need for Marshmallow (phones are different of course) but there is nothing I can do on the Marshmallow that can't do on kitkat (even miracast works on kitkat )

Oh well looks like I'm the only one gone for this ice cold deal, ether very brave or stupid :) Time will tell. Got to wait a few weeks for China delivery.

I think it's a great deal. Really want to buy it but the miss of band 20 would mean me moving away from giffgaff and really don't want to do that

Not at all, you're getting a 6 inch phone with Helios processor, reasonably generous 32gb ROM, good 3gb ram, sd slot and good enough battery.
I was looking at this as my replacement phone but am preferring the Ramos MOS1 Max, which is just £103 (-~£6 topcashback so £97 net)
The Ramos has worse processor gen, which would maybe not be massively noticeable, but has giant 6,000+ mah battery and larger 6.44" screen. I think the user experience for YouTube and browsing would be amazing!

Hhmm, torn between the two. The Ramos has a great big screen, perfect for kindle and browsing. But the PPTV has a sd slot (up to 128gb).

Does Ramos have OTG? If so could you watch movies etc from there, if you're just at home and it doesn't get in the way?

The Ramos is supposed to be quite premium with a metal body? Also the sound processor is supposed to be quite high-end considering.. Maybe read more into it?

Just checked on the specs and next to OTG it says "Support" which I take as it supports it. :)

I'm looking also and it appears that it does support it going by the information on websites, bear in mind that sometimes it doesn't match exactly the description, so it's always caveat emptor - buyer beware!

I saw it has fast charge 2.0 so with just 5 minutes of charging you can get 25% full battery, or something like that? That was another thing that interested me when I was looking!

I'm currently about to buy the Oukitel K6000 Pro for £103 (£93 after topcashback pays out!) delivered from Light in the box, using a promo code after I've topped up the basket to £105.

Hi all,i thought I would give my 2 cents worth as I own this phone for all you people out there not sure. The screen is absolutely gorgeous and has a lovely curve on the sides, it's REALLY bright and has a very good oleophobic coating it really doesn't smudge at all.

The audio is good through the loud speaker but can distort slightly on full volume, there is even a hint of bass! The camera is OK, not really tried it properly yet though so won't comment just yet.

There is absolutely no malware what so ever, infact it's mostly vanilla android with a few extra features thrown in like gesture controls. It's pretty smooth and I haven't experienced any crashes yet, but it can be a little slow at times but nothing drastic. All in all its a nice little phone with a stunning screen and is surprisingly light considering the size, I would've preferred it to be a little heavier. There is 1 bug in the rom and that is there's no sound when it rings but there is an update that fixes it but it has to be installed manually with a PC. Anyone who has any questions ask away and I will answer if possible.

Thanks for mini review, can you confirm Google apps can be installed and can you supply the firmware update details that fixes ringtone issue please?

All google services come pre-installed so haven't had to install anything except my favourite apps. Here is a link to a video showing how to update the software to fix the ringer issue with links for all the downloads. I've paired mine up with my smartwatch so it doesn't bother me too much as the watch notifies me anyway.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXiT5Pm6lUA

I also experimented with the front camera last night and in low light you can't really see anything so even though it's an 8mp shooter it's not much use for low light selfies! lol

Lastly there is a discount coupon available for banggood that I found and I paid just shy of £103. Due to a mix up with 2 shops (long story) I've now got 2 of these phones with the hassle of sending one back! I will keep using it for the next 6 months till something more powerful (and bigger) comes along and it will then become my backup phone as it looks really good. I also recently bought the letv max (6.33" 2k display) and the display on this phone is FAR superior as is the sound quality so I sent the letv back as this was half the price!

Thanks for reply, now looking forward to receiving, replacing my ageing LG G3 for a few months, so only have to do without NFC really, hopefully EE 4G will work. So it seems this can be used as an everyday phone, should have more heat!

Hi, I think I used the code "affiliate6" to get 6% off. If you google banggood discount codes there are quite a few out there, might take a few attempts to find one that works but well worth the effort.

Bear in mind that only the nano sim slot is 4G, the micro one is 2G as I discovered when I couldn't connect to the web. I downloaded mtk tools from the play store and it confirmed my suspicion. One last issue that is bugging the hell out of me is I like to use a swype keyboard, however each time you open the browser/email/sms etc it reverts back to the standard keyboard meaning you have to set it each time you want to type! Might try some others and see if the problem persists, however if you don't use swype your in luck.

No problem don't use swipe and the one 4G slot is pretty standard on Chinese phones I believe, purchased a CUBOT and an OPPO before for family.

Well had the LG G3 bootloop on me once lost loads of stuff had to fully reset, had it 2 years and battery very poor now so maybe wont be that disappointed and it is temporary, still cant believe its just over £100 as long as I don't get stung for customs!

Well, shouldn't be too bad then if it's only temporary.

I had the pipo t8 with a 6.44" FHD display and it was a monster! Awesome camera but I found 1080p insufficient for such a large screen size and it's the reason I opted for the PPTV and it's 2k display.

Can you confirm this device has Miracast. In Display settings there will be a setting for either Cast Screen, Miracast or WiFi display. Thanks buddy.

Hi, it does indeed have cast screen in the display settings.
