nice deal. gonna go for the blu-ray myself!

I'm going to hold off on the pre-orders, given how big a release this will be I'm hoping the supermarkets will be engaged in some cut-throat price cuts.

Still, nice to have a date at last. Woooooooooooooot!

best movie i have seen in a long time & will most certainly be the 1st movie i purchase on Blu-Ray. have had a ps3 for a while now but no BR titles. in the ol' days of DVD THE title to own was Matrix on DVD. i just hope that this movie will also be seen as the movie to own on BR.

currently it's the 2nd highest grossing movie of all-time just behind the extremely sickening "Titanic"

Rank Title Dist. Cumulative Gross Release Date
1 Titanic Paramount Pictures $600,788,188 12/19/1997
2 The Dark Knight Warner Bros. Pictures Distribution $522,106,180 07/18/2008
3 Star Wars 20th Century Fox $460,998,007 05/25/1977
4 Shrek 2 DreamWorks SKG $441,226,247 05/19/2004
5 E.T. Universal Pictures $435,110,554 06/11/1982

for those who want to know, Transformers is 20 on $319,246,193 ; Shrek the Third is 19 on $322,719,944 & Spider-Man 3 is 16 on $336,530,303. Iron Man is 21 on $318,223,785 ; and the old man's are too old to be in an action movie film Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is 23 on $316,678,795!!!

you never know, they may still get released, but the original source was dodgy, so the odds are slim. the batpod version would be awesome.

over-rated tosh.

in that respect it's about on a par with the first Tim Burton Batman.

I did enjoy Christian Bale's comedy Batman voice though, makes me laugh every time I watch it.
