This German company is well known for their premium low noise CPU coolers and power supplies. The new Silent Base 800 is their first computer case, and is designed all around providing you with a low noise computing experience.

The case includes 3 of their own brand Pure Wings fans, which cost ~ £30 when bought separately.

The case is available for this price in all black or with silver accents, while orange is selling at the normal retail price of £100.

It's a very nice looking case but I'd personally go with the new fractal design r5 which is cheaper and gets better reviews.

Heat though as this is a very good price.

Although it may be a good buy for some, its not for me as the case sides and top are plastic and the youtube reviewer has already scrached his in a few places on the top. Also it is a rather large case, and for me too much wasted.

I recently bought a Fractal Design R4 case for my NAS system and its just right, so I'll be getting another fairly soon

Where have you found the R5 for cheaper? I can't seem to find it under £80 anywhere.

Not knocking the deal but these cases seem like relics that only gamers really need these days or workstation users.

Although that's a fair point, one reason the Define R4/R5 and the Nanoxia Deep Silence are so large is that they use dampening materials which restrict the air flow (high-airflow generally needs more vents where noise can escape through). And while both Fractal Design and Nanoxia have now released mATX versions, both are rather large for mATX and that is not just for the feature list (i.e. so and so many 5.25" and HDDs bays) but has something to do with all else being equal a larger case is easier to keep cool without lots of vents.

Of course, without a graphic card (non-gamer) there should not be a need for much cooling in the first place.

Yes, I've had some silence oriented cases (Antec P series) and they add some bulk but not that much. I was talking about these big cases in general.

Not bad case, prefer my nzxt 440 red and black case which us superb and runs mega silent....With a corsair rm gold 750 psu. its quieter than my dell work laptop

had the antec 900 v2 which was garbage and noise. also had a lian Li case that was terrible

yes large cases are a bit dead gotta be either matx mitx or even a nuc. Bequiet do have a good rep tho ...
